onlive - a good idea.. but entirely dependant on the reliability of the internet and all services involved.

put it this way.. if a server goes down in japan or in italy or australia or canada, I can still play halflife 2 without any worries.

if my phone line gets interrrupted for whatever reason, I can still play halflife 2.

also there is the question of global bandwidth availability. I already heard news a couple of months ago that the internet is going to become too congested in hte future. that technology is not advancing fast enough. this will only add to that great strain.

it's a great fundamental idea, but i think it has huge flaws.

Better system of it's own self, more than likely. Better games, doubt it.

Since it has two analog sticks it should get more game developers to make games for it, which is especially good for FPS games! It's damn near impossible with the way the PSP is now. :(

Here's an interesting service you might want to check out for some old games that you may still want to play, or lost the disc to. . .

GOG.COM takes a lot of very popular older games and recycled them into neat little executable packages, which can pretty much run on any windows system from XP to Win7, that you can play all over again. Most range in price from just $5.99 to $9.99.

Good point, but they still look like nubs to me. Guess the analog sticks accessory guys will make twice the money they do now.

Well, they may be more like analog nubs, but I think games will be much easier to play with both rather than one.
