Guest spencer Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 It depends. If you knew which Anime episodes to skip, the Anime would be better. And I'm not just talking about the fillers here. The Manga used to be good. But that was back in a time where it felt new and you had high hopes for the future and where it could go. Now I'm just board of the stupid power ups from absolutely no where and that no one ever EVER dies. Sounds like DBZ. Quote
KING GHIDORAH Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Ive watched the Anime before I got into the manga. I got to say I like it, the only thing that makes I the King not want to look at the Anime is the fillers. Quote
Guest noethority Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 I love the manga, but I hate how they constantly add filler episodes with the anime. Quote
Guest tesuya_sewagi Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Another one vote for manga. Arancar saga very awesome. i see and download all ep of anime, but i don't like when story in Anime is not same as in manga. it's make story too long and some part are boring. Quote
Guest mvedder Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Those poor mangakas. They're slaving away over a hot art table in order to bring us steady entertainment in the form of a bloody and mindblowing manga. It's put on sale, and then we read it for free at Borders. Muahahahahahahaha! Quote
Guest enigman Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Manga!! well, for mvedder, if I can buy it fast enough...I would.. but then...my budget is currently tight T-T Quote
Guest zecueid Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Manga definetely better. Anime drags too long... Quote
Guest thunder Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 The Anime is becoming just like old Naruto, stories that drag on forever and add no meaning to the real story Quote
durendal Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Well, that's what you get when a seires gets popular, the producers of the show try to milk as much as they can on the series while it's still hot. Never realizing that what they're doing is losing the interest of the fans. Quote
Guest walkinZombie Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 i would recommend to read the Manga and watch the anime. Anime kinda sucks at times when they insert the fillers but then it is just something that we couldn't do about. Anime tend to caught up to Manga very fast, if there's no fillers i think there won't be Anime at all. in the past Bleach fillers is quite interesting with the Bunto arc, at least there's a story that we would look forward to but lately the fillers are just utterly nonsense. come on, i don't want to watch how they help a soul baked a cake for the mom in Bleach. can't they be a bit more imaginative with the fillers? Quote
Guest Infinity Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 I started this series recently. I did not see all the episodes, I cant stand raw or sub. I just rather watch whats on cartoon network on saturdays. I believe i am in episode 40 something. Right after Uryu fights that freaky scientist captain. Quote
Guest kc1313 Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Manga over anime...the Anime is just ruining some of the points of whose stronger then who with the recently introduced arc...but if anyone wants to get into the Manga check out www.stoptazmo.com thats where you can catch up with bleach on the Manga Quote
Guest ssj4jw Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Me myself is looking at the Manga since it is way along than the anime. Right now the Anime is doing fillers but the bount arc filler was pretty good. Quote
Guest bjs Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I love bleach. The Manga is great and Anime is good. I would say the Anime is great to but the last the few I could not stand. Like in the news one Ulquiorra get beat badly by three onbodys. Come on he is in the Espada and he is hight ranking one. their not even in the Espada. Quote
Guest sikece Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 i prefer to read the manga. my friend said that now the anime's rating is not too good in Japan. The story is different with the manga. Quote
Guest tewa Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 i like the Anime but it goes through spells of boring episodes. I have held of reading the Manga cause if possible i always want to watch the anime. Quote
Hyp3rB14d3 Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I love bleach. The Manga is great and Anime is good. I would say the Anime is great to but the last the few I could not stand. Like in the news one Ulquiorra get beat badly by three onbodys. Come on he is in the Espada and he is hight ranking one. their not even in the Espada. You thought that was stupid too, huh? Judging from what Ulquiorra said, they weren't even Privaron Espada, and there's a gigantic power gap between them and the Espada. Quote
Guest bjs Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Ya it was bad. If you know what rank Ulquiorra is then it is ten time more stupid. It realy made me mad. I am not going wich bleach aless they go back to the Manga story Quote
Guest Se3D03 Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Ive only been acquainted with the anime, and i really wasn't planning on reading the manga. is there really that much of a difference wit the Anime and manga? and which one is is better? im only catching up to the Anime right now. im up to the 128th episode. so far i've really enjoyed it. I didn't know that the bounto part was just a filler. It seems to be the weak part in the series anyway. but the episodes are getting way better now with the appearance of the arrancars and vizards. Renegade Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 There are scenes were the drawing quality goes down that always bothered me. Also the one thing I really hate about Bleach is that Kubo makes all these fight scenes where Ichigo could win with real skill or strategy, but instead it just turns into who is the strongest a la DBZ. Take for example the fight with Dordoni. Can you imagine how much cooler it would have been to watch Ichigo skillfully avoid or counter a Privaron Espada's bankai and protect Nel at the same time? He even swore that he wouldn't use bankai outside of fighting the real Espada. Don't tell me he'd be overpowered because he has had all these training arcs so he should at least know how to fight skillfully. Quote
Guest Bladesman Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I kinda like the filler personally i think it just adds to the story, though i'll agree with renegade the creativity of the fighting could use a touch up here and there. Quote
durendal Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Not up to date as to where the Anime is right now, but I liked the Manga better. I do agree that skills are becoming less relevant in some fights, but I liked the creativity in how new skills are used. Like administering super speed to your opponents, now who in their right mind would do that to your opponent? Quote
Renegade Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Like administering super speed to your opponents, now who in their right mind would do that to your opponent? I have no idea what you mean. And ZOMG Chad's true form! I love the skull La Muerte makes on impact. Also shouldn't it be El Muerte? I thought muerte was masculine. I just saw episode 160, and I'm happy Rukia fought in an unconventional way. Openings and secret attacks still make better fights than muscle flexing and power surges, and Kubo finally remembered that in this battle at least. Quote
durendal Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I have no idea what you mean. You would if you've been following the manga. You'll eventually see it if you only watch the anime, unless of course they change the story and events. And with the speed that the Anime is going, I'm guessing that they would be putting another filler here. Quote
