Try vampire first, it's got a nice quality to it, though it's an unfinished and abandoned project. It's got some nice music, distinct animations, and style kinda like Dracula X.

i played vampire today. it's a bit annoying at the start, if you don't run right away you get stuck being bounced around by that thing.

also the controls were awkward having my hands swapped round.. i can't move with my right hand.. it's so crazy...

anyway...

I really liked the way it was made. the graphics were delightful. it certainly had a castlevania feeling to it and the 3d effects were pretty cool.

i'll try the others at a later date, no time right now.

thanks for posting them.

the controls can be altered through the options. I foudn the start annoying as well, but once you get passed that, it's pretty cool. If the game had been finished and polished up it could of been something incredible.

One year and 10 months later, I'm still playing Symphony of the Night. Restarted the game. After 4 hours of intermitent play, I finally arrived at the inverted castle, and 30 minutes later, I got the cheesy weapon Crisseagrim again.

God, I can't believe that after more than 10 years I would still be playing this game and enoy it.

so well made.

beautiful animation, wonderful music, good hidden areas, lots of secrets, nice fluid gameplay and continuous challenge.

they cannot match this game unless they made a new 2d progression based action exploration game on a powerful console instead of a small screened low power handheld.

some the GBA ones were quite good but because they were on a handheld, the budget was lower and they did not take them seriously enough to include this level of depth.
