Now, this image is clearly not the finished product being used in the movie, and I bet the final Jaeger designs will be slightly more bulky looking... But the designs themselves aren't too bad.

 

*Edit* other people have noted that the mecha on the right looks to be made of spare parts from Jaegers from the first movie... Looks like the legs of Crimson Typhoon, some of the torso of Cherno Alpha... and that one arm looks suspiciously like Gypsy Dangers...

I'm really looking forward to this movie! The first movie knew it was basically a stupid idea, but played it seriously throughout and made it fun for the viewer. I'm looking forward to some massive screen beat downs and hopefully more ships being used as swords to batter Kaiju around with 

I'm glad they're making a new one. It just doesn't feel right only having one movie.
