xtro guyver Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 So you mean the whole Rodimus Prime era wasn't gen2? nope that was season 3 of g1 which ended with prime being brought back to life, then season 4 was 3 eps, thought the japs ingnored season 4 and then went there own way with 3 new seasons headmasters, masterforce and victory season 3 was released in 87 g1 didn't end till bout 1990 after actionmasters(transformers that didn't transform) killed it off as for your allspark question, in the g1 universe calling vector sigma the all spark would be like calling an hsl in the warrior guyver fiction hyper space so while Vector sigma and the allspark from the movie ar similar in some ways they are most certainly not the same thing, the allspark has more incomon with the creation matrix from the comics Quote
*zeo Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 So just because the series was continuously made we ignore the timeline and just call it all gen1? And the Creation Matrix still doesn't make it the same as the Matrix. One was used to create and the other just stored Sparks. In the series only the Vector Sigma had the potential to create another Cybertron. Quote

Everything before g2 is know as g1, technically g2 is part of g1 as it was a direct continuation. the g1 one thing was actual coined by the fans after g2 line came out, before the g2 line everything was just know as transformers. Now every line has got to have a name for the line In the cartoon Vector sigma was the only method show to create tf life however there were several others used in the comics Creation matrix, comic version of the matrix passed from prime to prime Optiums was prime no 4 Matrix flame, was used to create Ultra Magnus in the uk comics the budding process introduced in the g2 comics, which was forgoten about due a race wide memory block Primus put on the tfs Quote
*zeo Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Thus the reason the makers of this movie tossed the whole thing out and went with just what they wanted. Okay, going by the gen1 cartoon the Matrix of Leadership is totally seperate device. Only going by the Comic does the Creation Matrix resemble the movie Allspark. So basically the Creation Matrix was a fragment of Primus, the creator of the transformers? Quote

Only going by the Comic does the Creation Matrix resemble the movie Allspark. So basically the Creation Matrix was a fragment of Primus, the creator of the transformers? orginaly in the comics the creation matrix was just a computer program inside primes mind, but after the animated movie it got retconed to look like the matrix of leadership from the cartoon. As for Primus the creater of the transformers in the comics he was a god of light, with unicron being a god of choas, as Primus was losing his fight with unicron he took the fight to the astrol plaine, where he fared no better, but on their way back to the physical world primus tricked unicron and imprissed both him and uni inside giant astroids. Primus transformed his prison into cyberton while uni became as we saw him in the movie. Primus created the transformers to fight uni and poored a good chuck of his power into the creation matrix Its only after the catroon and comics ended the fans and then the now defunt dreamwave g1 universe combined the matrix of leadership and the creation matrix into one device As for the new IDW g1(think ultimate transformers) universe all we know is that neither Optimus or his predasor Sential Prime possessed the matrix, and that it was lost with a prevous prime that went on the maiden voyage of the orginal ark which was lost investigating an unusaly spacial rift As for the allspark from the movie being a cube one of the unused designs for the matrix that was used in the orginal movie adaption comic was actualy a cube Quote
