proto-guybar1 Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 Any interest for the guyver visual data file book? I am selling the japanese version. The book is not even a month old. The reason why i am selling is that i own two copies of the book. So why have two if you use only one So guys tell me how much are you willing to offer, if its high enough i might sell it to you...
Matt Bellamy Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 Just as a note... The Visual Data Files is a MUST HAVE book for a manga Guyver fan. I have never regretted getting mine all those years ago. Anyone that doesn;t have it should conisder tryign to get it... it's worth it...
guyverfanatic Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 Seeing as how I just got this: Bio-Booster Armour Guyver Super Visual Art Book I am short on cash, but I would buy it from you if I had some money.
proto-guybar1 Posted April 5, 2004 Author Posted April 5, 2004 First i would like to know how much you guys would give for it. Then i will let you know what i am asking for the book. Dont forget this book is hard to find, so dont expect me to sell it cheap.
omegaling Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 This is really your call. Granted, there are people out there who will buy it because it is rare. You tell us how much you want to sell it for, then we know if we should go for it or not. Most of the time, I see it going for about $50 on e-bay, so that should be something of a basis point.
proto-guybar1 Posted April 5, 2004 Author Posted April 5, 2004 I am surprised that you are the only one who is interested. Maybe others think that i am joking. I can mail pics of the book to people who are interested. And on e-bay you can only find the chinese version. The japanese version version is much rarer. Try google and you will see. And this book is not even three weeks old. Its brand new. Because of this i am not selling the book under 100 euros.
Guest Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 Hey, I would love to buy it, but the currency change is just too damn confusing for me to be bothered with it.
Guest Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 Do you still have the book? I would be interested in purchasing it from you. I would pay at least $60-70 for it. Beyond that, we can talk.

Guest Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 Well than let's do this mail me the pics give me a price or something! I want the book! Sorry, getting a little excited there. Seriously I will purchase the book from you. Say... $120.00? Let me know what you think.
proto-guybar1 Posted April 6, 2004 Author Posted April 6, 2004 I see that the interest for the book is growing. Two of you want the book. Since i cant slice the book in two pieces , i will sell the book to the highest bidder. So guys mail me with your offer and i will send you a few pics of the book. For others who are interested you can make an offer till monday. On that day i will announce who will get the book. I u want pics send me an e-mail. Not to forget you also have to pay the shipping costs and i prefer payment via paypal. Good luck!!!
omegaling Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 It's all yours, Detrun. Sorry PG, but as much as I like the Guyver, I'm not about to cough up over $100 for the books. Thanks for the great offer, though. Hope everything goes well for you.
Guest Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 Hmmmm......as tempting as it is, I think I'll pass, I would rather get 7 volumes of the manga instead.
Guest Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 I kinda of hate that you guys threw in the towel early but it is understandble. Now proto-guyber lets talk business...
omegaling Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 IMO, $125 is a LOT to ask for a book; ANY book. I mean, hell, that's more than my monthly car insurance! Seems to me like it's just a waste of money in the end, and as much as I love this series, it's not THAT important to me. But hey, what you want to do with your money is all up to you.
proto-guybar1 Posted April 10, 2004 Author Posted April 10, 2004 Guys i want to let you know that somebody mailed me an offer to pay 150 euros for the book. If somebody wants to pay more for the book, you have till monday.
Guyvr2 Posted April 11, 2004 Posted April 11, 2004 When did this thing get so rare? ? You're all nuts IMO - that book was like 45$ when I got my copy a few years ago.... God - was that back in 99? I feel old suddenly... I'll sell mine if someone's really crazy enough to give me 200+$ for it.
Guest Posted April 11, 2004 Posted April 11, 2004 Personally, I don't care if it is Guyver, I wouln't pay anymore then $20 bucks for it.
proto-guybar1 Posted April 11, 2004 Author Posted April 11, 2004 And you call yourself a fan Riven....
Guest Posted April 11, 2004 Posted April 11, 2004 150 euros? What is the exchange rate for that in U.S. currancy? I like this little game and I can take it up a step further. Let's continue this "auction" (such as it is) till the end of the month to be fair to everyone who would like to bid. But in the meantime I am willing to pay $200. And if this continues I'll raise it again.
