What happened to Malice's Unit

I was rereading Diametric when suddenly a huge question popped into my head. What happened to the Malice's unit? I know he had it taken from him by Anubis and what not but it seems to me sgmething that powerful would have been put to use, especially since its been 5 years since the last fic. Anyone got any ideas on this?

I thought someone else received the unit, I'll need to go back and re-read to make sure. But if no one did, hmm what could have happened.

I thought that at first that Erskigal (sorry bout spelling) but then I re-read and it says she got the 4th reproduction and Malice's was the 5th. Check Spawning to confirm that, so as far as I know his unit is MIA

If I was a betting man Anubis has it and is looking for something or someone worthy. He'd also be converting that unit so it's host obey's him.

I'm gonna agree with the boss on this one, Anubis must have it and is looking for the right host. However if he does find someone he will more then likely convert him into a lycanlord as he did Zagam, that would definety make the unit far more dangerous then before. If the conversion took Dreadnought from 25x to Zagam 60x then the new Malice unit is gonna be scarey

Sorry but you can't use that as a comparison. Zagam's power is a result of several factors unique to him and can't be used to estimate the power of other characters. The Malice unit must be considered by its own characteristics and not by how alteration of a host effected another very different unit.

Though, considering the way Anubis thinks, you are probably right on how the end result would be.

Agreed but to say that the conversion into a lycanlord doesnt matter in boosting whoever uses malice's unit seems a bit off to me

More then likely since its Allen, he'll give it to someone we were totally overlooking and make us feel like dumbasses for not picking up on who it is.

However, Vengeance, I didn't say the Lycanlord factor would not have an effect with Malice unit, just that it should not be compared to Zagam. The Malice unit will respond to such a host in its own way.

There are alot of factors of making Dreadnought into Zagam that probably won't work for the 5th Reproduction. One, is the backup Darmon Eenergy Draining system. That was part of the original unit design, and not something Anubis just decided to add. Second is the direct manipulation on the Matrix itself.

The 5th Reproduction might prove a little more resilent than Dreadnought due to being a W'Kar unit. Besides, if the above was not true, and Anubis does boost the 5th Repro from 50x to 120x. Why would you? That creates a great risk for Anubis if the host ever becomes less loyal to him.
