Is this some rip off customized Guyver kit? I would have dimissed the possibility of this being anything else, if it weren't for the fact that they state that it's "over 20 inches tall". The 1/12 scale kits are about 17 cm while the 1/6 scale are about 16 inches. Does anyone know if this thing is official or not?

I've als oseen it on ebay before, but i dont know if its being sold by the same seller or not.

Hold on a moment, look very closely at that figures head, I'm pretty sure that it's supposed to be Purgstall, maybe not the best rendition of him but it looks more like him then anyone else in guyver.

Actually, the body is of Guyver 2 ( anime version) with no HF swords. As well, I think the head is, but with some weirdly placed spikes.

Its hard to say, though it could have something to do with glue and a hairdryer to make it dry faster, or possibly to dry off some paint (though i doubt that).

Anyway, yeah, it does seem to be a weird version of guyver 2. I would like to know where they got that thing from though (the idea for a guyver like that, that is)

It's the material the model is made of. When you heat it up, it becomes very flexible. By heating it up with a hair dryer, you can just bend and pop the joints into eachother. Assuming the joint connections are even circular, you can move the joints into different positions, thus allowing different poses, even after you have painted it.

The arms and head on the large guyver kits are like this, even the waist with a little work.

Surprisingly, the joint of the frequency swords of the large guyver kits are designed so that you can switch between the short and extended version. This is assuming you don't cut or glue the joint thingy that is supposed to hide underneath the surface.

It could not be a Guyver-Zoalord???

Simply put, no, it could not, as there have been no official Guyver Zoalord kits made. I think this thing must be a custom kit after all, and the website that it is on just has their measurements wrong.

As you can see from the pic, this thing is definately modelled on th guyver 2 kit. As this kit was never produced any bigger than 1/12 scale (approx 17 centimeters) then their claim that the kit is 20 inches high is bull crap.

I too think that it is supposed to be some sort of enhanced guyver - the green 'zoacrystal' on its head looks like it was sculpted over the (blue?!)control medal, and the spikes are where the sensory orbs should be.

Obviously whoever made this monstrosity never thought to actually READ the manga or watch any of the video.

That is the worst piece of crap I have ever seen that claims to be a guyver! However made that, deserves to be shot.

Actually I like it. It may not be official, but you could probably make that into some new character with a new unit. Maybe some sort of Zoa Guyver.

It could be some new model Zoanoid or a Zoalord's zoaform, based on Guyver II and they put Guyver in it's title because it's from the Guyver series.

It is nothing to do with offical Guyver. As such this topic is now locked and going into the acrhive.
