At least Transformers kept Optimus Prime and Megatron as the powerful leaders of their respective sides, kept the terms Autobots and Decepticons, and got the guy who voiced Optimus Prime in the cartoon series to voice him in the movie. Gohan's still alive, Roshi's middle aged, Goku's an unsure high school student who needs to be trained because he is prophesized to save the world, Mai is a dangerous villain, the Dragonballs were created by monks, and they have to be collected before an eclipse to save the world from its prophesized destruction. And that's just the stuff I remember from seeing that stupid preview once.

Oy. They used the name "Dragonball" to get a bigger budget so they could make a crappy action movie with no relation to Dragonball. The bastards. And the worst part is that the movie is probably going to be very successful simply because there's so many Dragonball fans, regardless of the actual quality of it. I'm going to skip this one.

Also, Mustang has both eyes in the preview. It can't be a continuation.

Hmm... Is anyone else wondering whether or not Also, .

The end of the manga has been announced!? When did that happen?
-
That's where the anime and manga diverge story-wise! Man, that was a really crappy point to stop at!

Gah, I hate Griffith! When is Miura going to get back to Guts's group?

I've heard that this new series is following the manga. The fact that they first announced the new FMA anime in the manga a few months back supports this theory. Plus, Al is armor again. And since in the anime they were trapped in an alternate universe with no access to alchemy, that would be impossible without first returning to the original world.

Hey, the lunatic's back! Woo, all hail the return of Cause he's always a barrel of fun. Gun-barrel, that is.

Just saw the most recent episode. I must admit, it's been a while since Setsuna did something stupid enough to get me annoyed with him. Or at least, it had been until I saw the new episode. What the hell was he doing that whole time Tieria was grappling with Saachez? He could easily have taken him out while Tieria held him down, but instead he just kind of sat back and watched until Saachezs got loose! The only explanation that I can possibly think of is that he knew about Seravee's hidden arm and assumed that it would do the job, but that still doesn't explain why he didn't step in when that didn't work! Also, anyone else notice that lately the series seems to be focusing more on Tieria than anyone else?

From what I can tell, the innovators seem to be genetically modified humans like the super soldiers, but with the advantage of nanomachines to slow their aging and allow them to connect directly to certain machines. Also, anyone else think Louise is dying? Originally, I assumed that she was just taking the pills to speed up her reflexes like the enhanced soldiers in Gundam Seed, but it's beginning to look like she's using them to suppress a disease.

It shouldn't be that difficult for Griffith to defeat Ganishka. He is, after all, a god. What I'm wondering is just how he's going to do it and take credit for it without revealing what he really is.
-
The Anime also went into less detail on Gutt's origin, went into the flashback earlier, and cut a lot out of the Griffith retrieval arc.

At this point, I'm just hoping that the Manga ends before Miura does.

Good point. Here's another: Why would an apostle go around killing other apostles using one weapon over and over? They don't know about the special nature of Gutt's sword or how it attained that nature. That said, since killing apostles (as well as various other supernatural creatures and several humans) is what caused the nature of Gutt's sword, perhaps the apostles have this nature themselves. Then again, considering that Zodd was at a loss as to how to damage an astral being, maybe not.

Just thought I'd point out that Gutts was ONLY able to hurt Slan because he ran her through with a cursed weapon. The Skull Knight tells him as much. Had he used anything other than his sword, Slan wouldn't have been injured.

I'm pretty sure Lockon died in vain. While he definitely hit Saachez, it looked like he only got part of the suit. We'll be seeing Ali again, although probably in a different (or repaired) mobile suit.

You know, Exia turning pink and getting a huge speed increase kind of seems like a rip-off of the Battosai-mode from the Rurouni Kenshin anime. Not that I'm complaining. Aolia said that this was caused by allowing access to full-utilization of the GN drives, right? Does that mean all of them can turn pink?

I think he's a cyborg! With a robot brain and a human body!

Renji's fighting Szayel Apporro (or whatever his name is), Ichigo's fighting Ulquiorra, and Rukia just finished off Arroniro. Hmmm...why isn't there a discussion topic for the Bleach manga?
-
Shhh... this topic is about the anime. The Manga information should be kept separate from this topic.
-
Gasp! That's treason! The main character has no need to learn to fight if he can win without having to! Seriously though, I highly doubt Ichigo's going to learn how to properly use a sword. Short of getting emergency training from some Shinigami, Ichigo's likely to just keep increasing his rietsu, and nothing else.

Don't worry about that! If my predictions are correct, Saji's going to see a LOT more hell before he does anything important to the series.
