actually its on volume 33 now,check out the best Berserk forum http://www.skullknight.net/forum/index.php I would suggest reading the whole series of Manga from the beginning as they left out quite a few important details that aren't shown in the anime. ~left out the Black swordsman arc(vol 1-3) ~explains why Guts dun like to be touched. ~reason why the king hate Griffith so much after he slept with his daughter ~main reason why the Queen want to kill Griffith ~shows how badly Griffith was tortured ~Theres no Skull knight or Silat and no hint of the eclipse ~Guts fight with another apostle (Wyald) other than Zodd pre-ecilpse. ~tone down on most violence/sex scenes awesome mmv!

I was never a fan of superhero comics so I hardly read any of them but after I seen Sin city which is pretty cool I sought out the comics to read more of Sin city stories.
