Actually if you go to http://www.warriorguyver.com/ and look above the picture with all the tabs. Those will take you to various Guyver inspired sites such as Warrior Guyver, Star's Guyver Page, and Great War of the Guyver's just to name a few.

Yeah it looks really good. Hopefully the announced new Godzilla movie will be just as good or at least takes that same kind of direction.

we don't really have a definitive, factual definition of exactly how the pressure cannon works.
we have had various discussions about it and it sort of went a little like this.
the guyver uses compressor in the wrist and focuses with his fingers. this is described in the VDF.
we think that what is happening is that the guyver is forming an area of incredible density. then when he releases it, it creates a pressure wave. sort of like a sound wave but instead of being many pressure waves oscillating at frequency, it would be one big pressure wave. focused.
basically anything it hits, experiences this localised shockwave. this appears to be what is happening and is the way it is represented in manga and anime. whatever gets hit by it, appears that it is getting 'punched' by the air.
Doesn't the Guyver utilized Gravitational forces and Kinetic Energy to develop it and control it's shape? Or am I wrong on that?

I think in terms of durability the Guyver armor is roughly stronger than steel, how much I am not certain.
Ehh, the Control Metals seem pretty vulnerable to me, and thats pretty much their weakness, those Flying Zoanoids from the time Sho and Aptom were fighting Kabral pretty much paralyzed Guyver 1 by targeting its control metal with what? some sonic frequency? It seems to me that the Guyvers are just lucky they never get hit there with anything. I mean really, how did the control metal for that Guyver II unit that ended up eating its host get damaged initially anyway?, im sure it wasn't by some extreme super move or anything.
Sho only pretended to be vulnerable to the attack so he can launch a surprise attack on all surrounding Zoanoids so he and Biofreezer can focus on evil Aptom. Guyver 2's control medal was damaged after the test Zoanoid Malmot was captured and detonated the explosive that sent the units in different directions. Guyver 2's was damaged after the explosion slammed the unit against a boulder and cracked the control medal.
The Head Beam's impact is 5x stronger than a bullet from a 9mm. I read this information from the Datafile handbooks from the "Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor" anime series.
As for the Pressure Cannon I am not sure how strong it is. How it's formed and what it composes of we can tell you, but not really sure how strong it is. Just know it is strong enough to bust a decent sized hole on almost anything. The only Zoanoid that withstood this attack was Zx-Tole

Sounds like fun. You have my vote.

Welcome Krucifer,
Don't be too shy about posting something. If something is on your mind or you want to comment on something go right ahead. So far from what I've seen all the other members here are pretty easy going. The only thing they might say is "could you explain?" or something a kin to that motion.

The HTML is very cool, but I am not to sure if it is the best way to go. I still have to side with the Watermark.
Maybe you should cast a voting poll Ryuki and see what the other members have to say?

I think the data on Guyver 2 went towards the Chronos mainframe where everyone in Chronos can access it. Agito just erased all the local data from their servers at the Japan Branch, but didn't erase what was already floating around in the Chronos Global Servers.
I don't think the remover would work with the Gigantic Navigational Spheres directly because the Gigantic's is vastly different from the Guyver's CM. However would the pulse from the remover go pass the Gigantics and directly to the Guyver CM and undo everything?
As for Guyver 2F I don't think it would work on her because it's just a cheap imitation of a CM. But who can tell, we just don't have anything that supports/disproves this?
Although I thought there was one set of three units and a remover on every ship because if there was only a total of three units there would only be three ships on earth and not the massive amounts of ships that were displayed, right? So maybe each ship had Uranus Scientists to come up with the experiments and three technicians for each ship?

Ryuki,
You have every right to be angry for all the hard work that you and other members do for this site is being ripped off. Making the translated version of the manga available only to members you trust is extreme, but I do agree with it. Even though that hurts me to type because I am sure I haven't been a member long enough to have earned any trust, but I understand and would probably take the same action(s).
The only alternatives I can think of is either providing just the translations and telling members where they can get the raws if they want to do the editing themselves. Or creating a logo that would go on every page. I know the later might irritate people because they don't want anything obstructing the image, but i have seen it deter people from copying and pasting on their sites and then taking credit for it.
More importantly please don't give up and be discouraged because people want to be dicks.
Heck to show a sign of faith and to say not everyone is a dick I remember you mentioning that the "User Photo" I have on this site is one of your creations, well I am deleting the photo from my computer.

is interesting but I think that if the host dies trapped guyver, as I see the situation, whether you sho shake or whoever has the guyver dies, as happened when sho was temporarily blocked to invoke guyver
when this was all by in the van and it lansa enzyme 2, g unit is activated only if the user is in extreme danger, and if the user dies, I think I like the guyver revived, for we have seen that a single living cell, it is capable of cloning a new body, so I think that even without activating the guyver they can not die
Examples like this would be the case when the stomach pierced Aptom sho, and armor to the chase immediately,
as I see the dead technically, does not create any incombeniente for Guyver unit, because I think it would revive the user layers in virtually any secenario
That is interesting, so your proposing if the host dies the Guyver would just simply clone another within itself?
Keep in mind that Sho was keeping the unit at bay subconsciously and if he were to die against Aptom the armor might have come and save him because the mental "block" was no longer in place. I'm not saying that it would because it could very well play out in the scenario your suggesting. We just don't have anything that predates this kind of scenario to prove either one.
However if the scenario that I'm presenting came to fruition, I think it has already been determined that the Guyver will not leave the host unless all the damage is repaired. So if Sho died against Aptom and still didn't overcome the trauma; would the armor just automatically remove itself again or does that depend on Sho and being able to find some form of respite?
-
I agree the possibility of a host having two or more units at their disposal, but I just don't believe two or more units can be active at the same time. Just from what I've seen an interpreted is that the Guyver doesn't seem to have a "share clause" like two units have the capability to function together, but it is the merging of the two unit's bio-boosting process that would be reject from each other.
Like when in the second volume the Guyver has the capability of absorbing bio-boosted material i.e. when Guyver 1 absorbed the bio-boosted monster/Sho clone. However back when Sho and Hayami went to save Aptom from Cloud Gate; Aptom under Kabral's control tried to absorb Guyver 1 and was rejected. However just recently we've learned that Aptom can "cover" Guyver 1 and I think the Guyver allowed it because Aptom wasn't disrupting or taking over the system.
The reason I believe that the Control Medal and the Dual Navigational Spheres work is because they were made to "communicate" with one another and the Guyver's control medal has free reign over it. Meaning the Dual Navigation Spheres is 100% loyal to the Control Medal, like a Zoanoid is 100% loyal to a Zoalord.
Now I have wondered about the possibility of what would happen if the host died without the unit equipped? Would the unit suddenly "detect" that their host's vital signs have stopped and try to revive him/her, revert back into a unit, or just stay in the boost dimension for all time? The only theory I have is that the organisms on the host's backs send out a steady psychological pulse of sorts to the unit in the boost dimension and if the host dies those psychological pulses would stop; thus alerting the unit.
-
how does anyone arrive at the conclusion that two control metals could not work in unison, sharing tasks and co-processing in places?
I think it would be cool if people could include the logical processes behind their conclusions
Very well, from my perspective the Guyver acts as an organism that keeps it's host the same state of being since merging with them. If one tries to equip the unit onto the other I THINK the pre-existing unit would view the second unit as an invader that's trying to change it's host.
Why I believe the first unit would fight against something, even if it is something that would essentially help is because when Sho was rendered unconscious at the hands of his father and the Guyver took over it killed Fumio because it cannot discern from friend or foe and will do anything to fight for it's existence. Which is why I think the Guyver unit is predatory and will do anything that will keep it's source of sustenance to itself.
Basically Guyver = "This is mine, go get your own"
That is my theory. I am more than willing to hear others opinions. Ryuki what is your logical conclusion on whether two units can share a host or not?
-
That never happened.
Oh yeah I know, I guess I should have said that this is my own opinion form the beginning. Sorry, but this is just simply my view.
However I wonder if the host can have two units? Not equipping them both at the same time. but rather is able to switch between the two units? I know that really wouldn't make any real difference, but I am curious about it.
-
Actually if a host gets two units and tries to activate one on top of the other, the two units would fight for dominance. The first unit which has already merged with it's host will fight off the second unit, thinking that it is some kind of invader. The second unit would continue to fight with the first unit until they end up tearing each other apart along with the host or the second unit may give up and search for another suitable host or maybe revert back into a dormant unit.
As for the Gigantic, no it isn't exactly the same. The Guyver's control medal with Sho's will, has conformed the navigational spheres and the bio material from the ship to become a secondary suit of armor. However the Navigational Spheres unlike the control medal don't have a predatory nature that would try to take the host away from the Guyver unit, so the control medal is able to command the Gigantic Armor as if it was an extension of itself.

Nonetheless a very comical...comic strip? Sure made me laugh. Also Durendal and Lost Unit, you guys are awesome!
-
Probably gather a small team of people I really trust and have them keep tabs on criminal operations and have me go in and clean it up. Kind of like a team of vigilantes and after "pacifying" them probably steal money from they're wallets. Hey that money is probably stolen in the first place and also I need to make a living some how. Probably have the 'for my assistance' attitude like Deadpool or Jin from Zetman.
-
Thank you for the translation Durendal
-
Damn, that looks a hell of a lot better than the original Ryuki. Awesome work.
-
Holy crap, did not see that coming! At first I thought it was Apollon or Guyot making another move. But Aptom disguising Guyver 1! What is Takaya Planning and is Sho forming an alliance with Chronos?
Man I can't wait for this to be translated.
-
Wow that is cool. Didn't know they had a Guyver Out of Control Concept book for sale. Nice

Ryuki, you're right about the message dragonball delivers: that if you train hard enough, you will succeed. Whereas you said with Sho he just had to "wish for it" and got his "Power" much more easily. I have to disagree because though in the dragonball verse Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, etc. did earn their power, they were relatively able to "save" their family and friends and it was a happy ending for everyone. However with Sho he always seemed to get stronger after the loss of someone.
Sho regained the ability to bioboost and became stronger after the death of his father.
Sho gets the Gigantic after their crushing defeat from Archanfel and after Murakami's "death".
Regains the power of the Gigantic from Agito after Hayami's death.
So yes Sho never had to physically trained, but the power he receives or gets back always had a morbid price.
And let me just ask, did anyone else think that GT just sucked?
-
Yeah episode 7 was notorious for really bad frames of the Guyver. Heck in the 8th episode with Sho going up against the Lost Numbers there were some unusual animations that weren't "bad", but didn't look "right" either.
The only bad frame I recall from the new 26 episode series was in ironically their episode 7 as well. It was right after the fight between Sho and Panadyne and Sho was looking at the burning horizon and Tetsuro just catches up with him. The drawing on the Guyver 1 was just really off.

Thank you for responding Ryuki and I can't say for certain that I know either. All I can do is research on what exactly a particle beam cannon/weapon is and then make an educated assumption. I know wikipedia isn't the most reliable source for information, but none the less it is there to research and compare to concrete facts. Here are a couple sites that I think are worth looking at.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Particle_beam_weapon
http://www.airpower.maxwell.af.mil/airchronicles/aureview/1984/jul-aug/roberds.html
All that I can gather from the information provided; as a weapon the particle beams do break down objects on an atomic/subatomic or molecular level, but it doesn't say anything about the actual force of the cannon. Though I do think it is interesting that it mentions the usage of kinetic energy which is what the pressure cannon seems to rely on, combined with gravitational forces.
-
If I remember correctly the particle energy is what is used as a "disruptive" to matter and is what breaks it down on the molecular level, but then the actual force from the smasher is what "erases" the matter, is that right?
If so wouldn't it mean that though the megasmasher and the voltekka are different, they both perform the same function which is wiping out all form of matter? So I would like to know if the two had a power struggle which of them would win or would they cancel each other out?
As for the fight itself, the Guyver's HF Swords, pressure cannon, and Sonic Buster are his Aces in the hole. The Tekk armor definitely beats out the Guyver bio-armor in terms of toughness, but not much can repel HF weapons and there is a chance that the pressure cannon may or may not work (depending) on where it hits. However the Guyver bio-armor can regenerate while the Tekk armor cannot and that can prove to be fatal to Tekkaman.
It terms of strength they seem to be very closely matched. If they were to get into a fist fight I would say Tekkaman would win if it is between D-Boy and Sho because of D-Boy's martial arts experience. However if it was between them and they were fully utilizing the powers beset to them than my money would be on Sho because over the years; Sho has become quite the battlefield strategist and has learned how to fully utilize the Guyver's powers/potential. Plus the Guyver does have the sensory orbs that alert him of danger while Tekkaman does not. However, the Guyver system eats a lot of energy very quickly which can be their downfall, unless it's like Tekkaman Blade with the 30 minute time limit that he may try to avoid and revert back.
Tekkaman however seems to only have the lancer as his main source of attack which can be dodged more easily than most attacks, plus how would it hold up to a HF sword struggle? Aside from certain blades that fire from the lancer and the Voltekka I cannot remember if Tekkaman has any other weapons or projectiles other than the energy whip he can use to get his lancer back.
All in all the battle would ultimately be decided by the host/wearer of the armor because though vastly different the two systems seem to offset each other's strong suites in one form or another. Although a fight between the Gigantic and Blaster Tekkaman I would love to see.
how strong is the guyver??

In terms of the Pressure Cannon the description of it that I have from the Handbook from the 26 episode series is this:
"Pressure Cannon: Energy supplied by the gravitational control device passes through the protrubances on the wrists and converges between the five fingers of each hand. This opens a microscopic wormhole, which when closed, launches a shockwave towards the enemy."
So maybe with the pressure cannon the energy is supplied from the boost dimension and when it opens and is shut both forcibly and quickly the shockwave is launched forward and because of the surrounding gravitational force that was attracted gives it shape and density?
In terms of the shield that protects the host and unit during the bioboosting process that bubble is of the same nature, but that one isn't closed forcibly, but instead it seems to just naturally close itself or shimmers out?
This is all speculation on my part. Anyone else have any thoughts or opinions?
