its amazing what people sell these days. I looked for other guyver dark hero covers but had no luck.

i saw these aswell when i was looking on ebay they just look like rip offs.

shellac is for nails and could flake or even distort the paint. with the lacquer i can spray a light layer without thinking about smudging. When i finished my other model i coated it in a mixture of pva glue and water and some of the detail in the face smudged and has to be redone again.

those pictures have had a good transformation you done them really good. How long did it take you roughly to do each one. As for getting another book i would give that a miss the book is rare money i short i think for what your doing with this book those pictures will work out just fine they are as good as the manga pictures we get. It would be nice to see these pictures colored by anyone who's willing to give an input in this ,or are you going to keep it as close to the book as you can. Anyhow good stuff glad to see this project moving forward.

it was a great scene i thought whats going on he should be dead how is he surviving excellent stuff for the time it came out.

thanks for comment Aether i will be using a satin lacquer so it has a slight sheen but not look too plasticy. My next model is guyver 1 which already assembled and primed gotta get the paints the weekend.

Ryuki are you gonna do a template. with type of fonts and sizes etc is it gonna be a page per page or fit two pages into one since there isn't much text.

well nearly finished this model just some highlights and lacquer to finish then the base . I had to mix the colours to get he right shade of purple/blue but turned out well i think.

oh silly me disregard my last post i was whizzing through the posts and thought it was a translation of the guyver mutronics book.Hey we all make mistakes.

i know that alot of you guys have built up a collection of guyver stuff on your computers and lately somebodys hard drive went down, i dont know about you but i dont fancy loosing my stuff that i have accumulated over the years.So how do you store your folders for backup maybe on disks or upload to other servers and are they reliable and pricey . What would you recommend.

bio boosted dude they are they the pictures on the back of the covers not sure if they are foreign covers.

i used to have a video clip of the Yoshiki Takaya i think it was am expo or promotion when the guyver tv series was being released and he spoke about the series and he had a man in a guyver costume not the bio weapons suit but a better one very similar to the figures.i looked over the internet and found that it no longer available. if anyone has it can the pm me with a link.

i now have 11 covers in the mutronics folder anybody got anymore besides the Japanese one we can't get. i will keep looking and asking cheers guys.

that count me out then,my design skills are really poor but i put ideas like the guyvers chrysalis pod with the word Guyver advocacy in inside it to give the impression that inside theres something good. Maybe a logo changing the o in advocacy to a g-unit.

thanks Guyverfan keep them coming,i would agree with Ruyki around 2000 pixels so the pictures and txt are good quality and not blocky. Its amazing i spent a few hours scouring the net for good size covers and then yourself pop up with another i couldn't get or find thanks for the input guys. This is going to be bigger and better than i hoped it was gonna be so aint sure whether to keep it on the server and put up multiple folders the covers or put them on the wiki any proposals.

i looked everywhere for the japanese vhs cover of mutronics and couldn't find a better picture than you uploaded,but i did find another 5 covers which i put to the collection.

Hey Aether thanks for your pictures the first three are a bit small to put up but the out of control one was great i will ass it to the collection good work guys.I love seeing new covers i didnt even think was out there.
