Ooc: I'm terribly sorry guys. I haven't had the time to get back into the roleplay, due to my taking a new job at the Post Office and dealing with my grandmother's death. In the meantime, I'd appreciate it if you'd vote amongst yourselves what directions to go in.
-
OOC: God, I've been away a long time. Let me start reading up again. Sorry about that, guys.
-
ooc: I'm sorry once again. I've had lots of stuff going on. For RP's sake, let's just say that River has escaped from the Chronos troops and is planning his next move at a secret location, just so you guys can progress with your ideas.

Crono had listened to the words of Imakarum through and through, and realized that he had at least partially gotten something of his point through. He had no illusions about curing the zoalord of his mind control, but rather, he would give him a few things to think about. "I've said my peace," he ended, "and with that, I'll be gone." With those words, he teleported away. His destination? Japan. It's time I introduced myself to Sho Fukamachi, he thought. Before that, though, he would pay a little visit to the Japan branch of Chronos. They'd been working on some projects he didn't particularly like. He'd been alive over a thousand years; he certainly knew how to deal with groups like Chronos. ooc: River is coming up next.

You're approved.

OOC: Really sorry I haven't been posting. I will post soon. So, in general, who is interacting with my characters?
-
In the forest just outside the Chronos building, seven zoanoids hit the floor. "C'mon, guys, you know better than to use the bottleneck strategy! I was the one that taught the group that strategy." What had happened, was at least six Derzerb types had sacrificed themselves to draw River into a position where eight Zx-Tole's could fire on him simultaneously. The problem was, he had known about the strategy before they had, so in actuality, all that happened was him hitting them with his bio-lasers. Then, a large group of hyper-zoanoids came at him. "These morons always inevitably run out of ideas and just charge straight in," he said. He pulled open his massive chest plates and fired a fully charged, double beam megasmasher, that cleared a long line of at least fifty zoanoids and hyper zoanoids. Chrono looked Imakarum straight in the eye, "Me? I'm just someone who thinks you might be on the wrong path, Imakarum. Archanfel is manipulating you. You should know that." He looked at the younger one next. "Kenji, you've also been misled by your father about the 'evil' Guyvers. I come from another universe, where Guyvers helped me defeat a planet-destroying evil."
-
Actually, um, Zoa-Supreme, I'm going to have to decline your character. Please try something else.
-
Um, I don't think any original character should be able to redirect a megasmasher back at the person, and do you think you could give me the numbers for his abilities? Like a statistic for how strong and powerful he is?
-
As soon as Imakarum appeared, Crono emerged from behind the wall. He still suppressed his psionic energies, so Imakarum could not automatically know he was a zoalord. He didn't want to fight, right off the bat, but he had been made to combat a planet destroyer; he believed he could hold his own. "Hello, Imakarum. I wanted to talk to you. Now, there doesn't have to be a fight, I just want to talk."

- In the Chronos Building - River had figured out what he wanted to know by his control medal. If there was one thing he wasn't good with, it was technology. However, his control medal had responded to his desire, and hacked the computer for him. With the knowledge he had, he didn't need to be here any longer. Still, he engaged three Zx-Tole's in physical combat. He managed to trade blows with them and inevitably punch their brains in, shattering their skulls with the augmented strength of a Guyver. "You guys may be the same zoanoid type as I am, but you aren't trained in martial arts like I am!" He turned to a huge swarm of zoanoids. "Anyone want some?" They turned to run, but mental commands forced otherwise. "Stupid Barcas." He jumped back and charged his bio-lasers to maximum power; he would save his megasmasher for later. He fired his 14 biolasers all at the group. It incinerated the group immediately. He got the telepathic message from Koujin, and sent one back. I see. Anyway, I've got the data I wanted, and I'm going to demolish part of the building to cover my escape. He punched through a wall and went into the maintenance room. He blew a hole through all the way to the outside, then punched through a structural beam. A large section of the wall of two floors collapsed behind him, covering his exit. He quickly disappeared into the forest several dozen feet behind the building. On the roof of the Chronos building, a red-haired figure hid behind a wall, suppressing his psionic energy so none of the other zoalords would sense it. He awaited the arrival of Imakarum. He would then surprise attack him.
-
River proved that you did not mess with him. In the space of a few seconds, almost all of the fodder was dead. He was rather impressed by Quantum Guyver's destruction of some of the hyper-zoanoids. X's amazing performance also astonished him. He sliced through a large group of new zoanoids that came a few seconds later. He heard footsteps coming from behind a doorway, and he chose not to wait to find out what it belonged to. He pulled his zoanoid horns back, revealing his large head bio-laser. He fired it, along with his other bio-lasers, and suddenly, a loud boom shook the area as the doorway, and whoever stood behind it, disappeared in a massive stream of energy fire. More zoanoids popped up, and he jumped forward, landing in the midst of them, slicing them apart and crushing their heads. Some of the other strength types panicked and tried to leave before being annihilated. A bioboosted Zx-Tole looked imposing enough to instill fear in fodder. He knew Barcas would send in his elite squads next which was why he was saving his megasmasher. His bio-lasers could be rapid-fired, but he'd only get one megasmasher per period of time.
-
The ones on the antenna-shaped headpiece? Agito's Guyver 3 doesn't have those, and he can still hear, so that eliminates that idea.
-
River tried to send a telepathic message through his control medal to his allies. Hey, just so you know, I decided to pick a fight with Chronos. Barcas is focusing on me. You might have an opportunity to sneak in somewhere. He turned his attention to his new opponent. "Oh, I remember you. You must have been upset that you never got a chance to be part of the new Hyper Zoanoid team that I was put in charge of. But then again, if a bioboosted human is 100 times as powerful as a bioboosted Advent, then how much more do you think a bioboosted Zx-Tole is than a human? Remember, my zoanoid type is only slightly weaker physically than Derzerb, and I more than make up for it with my bio-lasers and my blaster tempest, and all of these are only further enhanced by the unit I have." He looked at the security cameras still intact. If he were capable of grinning in his Guyver form, he would have. "Remember how happy you were to have someone with the physical combat experience I had, turned into one of your meat puppets? You weren't expecting the Guyver unit to give me my human personality back, now did you? And if a biobooster unit can return a destroyed personality to a zoanoid, perhaps it could do it to a zoalord as well? Imagine the horror of what might happen if...oh, I dunno...IMAKARUM were to get his human personality restored?" He looked back at his new opponent. "Or maybe I'm getting ahead of myself." He fired a sonic buster at his foe without giving any warning.

ooc: It was pretty good. XD Crono smiled a bit inside; he knew what they were doing. He was with a girl once, too. It was a pain to him that he dramatically outlived her. Still, he had to focus on what was in front of him. "You should trust me because you've seen my power. If I wanted, I could kill you when you're vulnerable because I can see and travel in the fourth dimension. In layman's terms, I can see and move through time. You could try to strike at me now and by the time you reached me, I'd be two minutes ago." He folded his arms. "And as for what I wanted to talk to you about? This organization led by Archanfel. I was created by the Creators, but in another universe where a much more powerful being threatened the very fabric of existence. I was turned from a human into a Zoalord to combat this evil; Lavos, was its name. The battle opened a rift and threw me here upon defeating the monster. This Archanfel and his organization are nothing better. I've lived over a thousand years to combat evil; why would I stop now?" "Oh and to prove to you that I do in fact have the power to perceive and move through time? In a few seconds you're going to hear a scream from the door to the lower levels behind you; this will be because a Gregole will bust through that door, and after you kill him, I will go back in time to about fifteen seconds ago, plant a grenade, and come back up here, undoing the time effect of you ever killing it, because my actions will prevent it from ever emerging through the door." The Gregole burst through the door, and got killed quickly, then Crono indeed pulled a grenade from his pocket, calmly walked through the door, and travelled back to before the Gregole was to that part of the staircase. Setting the grenade, he then went back to where he was in space and time in front of the Guyvers. Upon the grenade's detonation, time corrected itself for the change in events generated by Crono's interference. The Guyvers' defeat of the lone Gregole never happened, and they would instead perceive it as though the bomb had merely gone off free of their attack. They would remember none of their attack on the Gregole at all. Crono smiled. "See?"

ooc: Ok, I'll post. ic: River scanned the computer. ****! I was hoping I could find some information that would prove useful, but all they've got is files on basic zoanoids! He punched the console in anger and it shattered in a shower of sparks. He effortlessly kicked the door open to the lower levels, and descended after making the downwards ramp larger with his strength. A Zx-Tole like him was 55 times the strength of a human, putting him more powerful than a Zerbebuth and only slightly weaker than Derzerb. Adding onto that was the Guyver, which further enhanced that strength another hundred or so times. Bending titanium to fit down into a sub-access tunnel was effortless to him. Zoanoids cowered in fear right before they were annihilated. "Arrgh! It's the Guyver Zx-Tole!" they would shout. Or sometimes, they'd barely get the chance to make a noise before being destroyed. He didn't care about stealth. Not this time. He was out for revenge, and info on Chronos. He stood in a fashion that allowed him to simultaneously fire all of his Guyver-enhanced zoanoid bio-lasers, which cleared the tunnel of at least fifty zoanoids, leaving scorch marks around. He saw some of Barcas's "pet projects" up ahead. "Aw, ****it! Not more distractions!" He fully unsheathed his high-frequency blades. Crono, seeing through his fourth-dimensional vision that two people were watching him, teleported to where the two people were standing on top of the building, then utilized his time-manipulating powers to travel backwards a few moments to exactly the point where they were starting to walk away. "You don't have to worry," he said to them, "I'm not with that evil company. I'm not even from this dimension. Perhaps we can work together."

Bump. I'm waiting for a few more posts, guys.

Differences between male and female Guyvers
Moonraker One replied to Enzyme-eternal's topic in Philosophy
Well, probably not that much. I mean, the Guyver is incredibly dense, because Sho weighs upwards of 260 kg in his Guyver I form. I can't possibly imagine his human form weighing more than 55-60 kg (about 130 pounds). Here's another thought; what if the Guyver developed the developing baby to the full term, so that when the control medal detected via her emotions and thoughts that she was safe, she would immediately have to deliver? I mean, the control medal obviously knows what a human's anatomy is supposed to be, and how it is supposed to function, otherwise Sho wouldn't have regenerated when Enzyme I happened. So perhaps it would eliminate the waiting period and make the infant developed as if the end of the 9 months had already come? I mean, that would certainly eliminate some problems. -
ooc: Wow, no one's posted in a while.

ooc: I'm introducing my second character in this post. For information on him, see the signup River snuck into a side information building about a quarter mile from the main building. It wasn't difficult, and there wasn't much resistance. Just a few dozen Ramotiths. He didn't even need his Guyver unit; his zoanoid form was able to provide enough firepower with his bio-lasers. Also, regular strength-type zoanoids don't expect a hyper-zoanoid to open fire on them, so the psychological effect helped. Once inside, however, he utilized his knowledge of the computer network of Chronos, and hack into the main database. At this point, he bioboosted, memorizing data permanently using his control medal's knowledge recording feature. His large fingers couldn't tap the keyboard, but he didn't need to. Since his control medal was a living computer anyway, he could mentally hack the network. Down the main street of Central City, a man by the name of Crono took a stroll. Several of the zoanoids that patrolled the city, walked by him then immediately turned around. "Hey, you! You, with the punk hairstyle! You look suspicious. Can you prove that you aren't associated with the Guyvers?" "The Guyvers?" he thought out loud. "Those exist in this dimension?" He thought a moment, then continued walking. However, the zoanoids wouldn't allow him. "STOP!" Crono found a Gregole, in zoanoid form, had grasped his shoulder to stop him. The punk-haired man brushed the hand aside. The strength-type went for his target's neck, but Crono effortlessly stopped him by grasping his hands. This was a sight most onlookers didn't see everyday; what looked to be a normal, 5'7" human, effortlessly holding back a Gregole's power. Why don't you be good zoanoids and patrol some other part of the city, and forget you ever saw me? Crono gave a command via his thought waves, and the zoanoids obliged, leaving the site promptly. He thought to himself, Dammit, I didn't want to use my zoalord powers in full view of public. Well, at least now I know I might have potential allies.

I'm bringing in a new character: It's Crono from Chrono Trigger as a zoalord. Here's the basic story. I'm going to incorporate part of the game's story into his backstory, but not all. Crono was an ordinary human on an Earth in a different reality. He chose to be turned into a zoalord so that he could help fight against Lavos, an alien creature bent on destroying the world. He lived for a thousand years, plotting to defeat Lavos, but upon defeating the creature, the energy backlash through him through a time-space portal to the main universe in which this RP takes place. Upon arrival, he decided that Archanfel and the council of zoalords were no better than the alien beast he'd helped defeat in his own reality. His primary means of attack is electromagnetic, and he can emit electrical attacks MUCH stronger than Purgstall. What puts hiim above most zoalords is that he can withstand a megasmasher. his human form:

Aptom0021L, your character is approved because it seems balanced enough.

ooc: I will post more Chronos activity shortly. I've had a hectic week.
-
River, with the battle and the post-battle discussion being over, went back into the main area of the city. He knew Chronos would be looking for him, but then again, it wasn't like he wasn't strong enough. He was a bio-boosted hyper zoanoid; that automatically put him above most Barcas creations. Speaking of those zoanoids he fought, they only lasted as long as they did and got away because of the sheer volume of strength types nearby. He, on the other hand, was physically stronger than Zerbebuth, who had three times a Gregole's strength. He also had 14 bio-lasers and a final attack shot Blaster Tempest. And all of that was before bioboosting, which only further enhanced his might. He had an objective in mind; he would sneak into the Chronos base here in Central City. The reason? Obtaining some of the information Barcas had on his computer. Doctor Barcas typed away at a console in front of three processing tubes. Soon enough, you will be strong enough to contend with that Zx-Tole that got away. He didn't actually know how effective it would be, but it would certainly prove a testament to his abilities as a scientist.

River released his guyver unit, then walked over in his zoanoid form to grab his clothing. It was dirty, but still intact. He went back into his human form then rapidly put his clothing on. "The creators made life on Earth billions of years ago, then they left because of Guyver Zero," he explained. "The guyver is actually a standard piece of equipment for all creators. They wanted to find out what would happen if they put it on a human. It not only made the bioboosted human a hundred times stronger than a bioboosted creator, but it also freed the human from the genetically programmed mental control. That's why they left us behind." He popped his neck. "Ah, that feels better." He looked at the others. "I suppose you want my story. Ok, my name is River Zastory, and believe it or not, I used to be a bounty hunter before I was abducted by Chronos. I hated being genetically programmed to obey, and I hated being controlled. Fortunately, I managed to steal one of the artificially created Guyver units Barcas created. The other, Guyver IV, went to one of the female scientists working on the project." He looked towards the Chronos tower. "Now that Barcas knows I'm here, he's going to be coming after any who were seen with me, because he considers me to be one of his key projects."
