in all seriousness. today was good but uneventful. i spent some time helping out a friend prepare for their kids christmas play. that basically means i scoured the net for all the songs that they needed. turns out it was slightly harder than i thought, limewire is in the middle of legal trouble, so their site is shutdown... hehe. actually they had it shutdown since october, and i just now realized it. goes to show you how much music i listen too! um... after i got the songs together i burned them to a disc, then typed out the skits.... outline i guess. there is no speaking parts except for the narrator, so i only had to type up that part, and then insert where the songs went. yeah that was my day. oh yeah! my power went out and my moms friend got dizzy, fell, and scratched up her arm pretty bad. shes 70 something so a fall is pretty brutal for her. so there. you now have the entire Larz Zahn itinerary.(or however you spell that stupid big word)

ahhh..... i see... thanks ryuki. i saved your demo so i can experiment with it later... im gonna do something incredibly stupid. tomorrow morning im gonna dig a pit, throw a lot of leafs and wood in pile, poor on the gas and LIGHT HER UP!!! plus i'll have a water hose handy incase i light myself up... its happened before. im doing this so i can see the texture. in that picture i only have buildings and a couple of cars, but i'd imagine that in a city, ash could come from a number of sources. trash bins, parks, building offices. i'll probably watch saving private ryan again to see a good war zone city scape to get a better picture of destruction. if all else fails i'll settle with a black and grey camo scheme and see how that turns out, lol. i have one stupid question. is there a reason the bigger peices of ash are blurred? i only asked cause in your post you said the larger closer peices will be well... larger. an sharper and more opaque.

whoops i meant to mention that kai is so terrible when compared to regular dbz... my bad. kai is like dragonball z stripped down to the barest essentials and still had a lot info left out. plus the music and voice additions they added were just horrible. dbz is much better quality wise imo. and i dont even like dbz and yeah, buu is majin buu. i think i have the site stored somewhere that has the dbz torrent ryuki. would you like me to pm it to you? that is if i saved it?

o wow... thats not a very good week... you have my sympathies Riv... i hope your dad gets better soon. as for the moving.. ugh.. there is nothing i enjoy less than moving.. i moved probably about 5 to 6 times... so i definitely dont envy you there any. and one o those times was in the rain... carrying a bookshelf with a impatient friend up a slick metal ramp is not recommended i tell you. by the way, i also live in a box called a trailer. unfortunatey its a singlewide, so i cant tranfer all my stuff here. at least yet. probably add on a couple of rooms large enough then bring over the rest of my stuff. so what instrument do you play? when i was in the strings program i played the violin, i feel guilty for not taking it seriously enough when i had the chance. i've been meaning to dust it off and practice a bit, but... im lazy, what can ya do? hehe. i will probably never find sewing, weaving, or anything frabic wise relaxing... its a nerve wrecker for me. funny enough, painting small models or figures is terribly enjoyable and peaceful for me but it kills my neck.

wwwoooooo hoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im so proud of myself. i just read all 11 pages of our blog bk!! i had a hoot and a half! on a more sad slash pathetic note, did anyone realize that this page, page 11 takes place from now, back to january of 2010??? im kinda ashamed we havent filled up several pages with more useless rants of nothng in particular save for the ushering in of a new bananaless kingdom of heartless zombies who love to watch chick flicks. yes, i said that with a straight face. i dare you to make sense of it. on a serious note, one reason may be that there is nothing going on to report in my life, my job state is unchanged(which is sad, and Embarassing!) and nothing else has happened that warrants a full status report. oh well, guess i can always fall back on good ole reliable ranting. ooo!!!!!!!!! my church got a new pastor.... ok no new updates. my mom had several looms, mostly it looks like it sits on a table, and from the main body a frame? comes out the back and stands straight up, and a smaller frame stands up in the middle and you can lean it back and forward. it didnt really have pegs but metal clips or something... i wish i have a picture to show you, i'd have to go to her house and unbury it. Riv, i give you props. i tried to teach myself how to use a loom, even a simple cardboard loom, and i went crazy with boredom. its so tedious i seriously went batty, lol. i was watching my mom make... not really a shawl or a tablecloth, but something inbetween, and i noticed it was really bland, like one tone color, so i asked if it was possible to... draw with a loom. she told me it was but it was difficult to do so... after about a week with playing with the first loom i mentioned, i managed a shakey representation that was suppose to be a ninja turtle (cough, i was 11, cough). tho to me it looked like green spegetti. still mom was freaked out i did that at all, and then she tried hard to get me to take that up as a full time hobby.... i backed out, thats just too much work!!! so Riv, you have my undying respect for your shawls, and so ends my rant.

at times like these, it helps to tap into the infamous wisdom of the Zahns... yep i got nuthin. sorry dude. if there was a way i could help with your girl problem i'd jump to it. but the one who is Larz is worse off in this department than the fruitiest fruit monarch in all fruitdom. every time i get the nerve to ask a girl out, she either announces she's getting married (didnt even have a boyfriend the week before) or she's pregnant. or joining the air force. heh, and ironically, one girl did do all three. i havent neccessarily given up on romance, but i have put it on the back burner for a while. gonna get the maelstrom that is my life in order first, or at least try too. then we'll see. however, i will be so frusterated if it turns out that once i get a girl, that'll be the catylist to bring the formula that is my dream life together. who knows, im patient.

hey ryuki, i actually dont like dbz very much, but i think you'll like the Cell saga/arc more than you did the freiza saga. it had more character development for gohan and i honestly thought the series focus had shifted to him. the cell saga and the opening episodes of the buu saga is the only portions of dbz i like. i hope im not spoiling anything by naming sagas or arcs. and i cant remember if you liked veoh or not, but the first season of "Tekkaman", thats what the japanese version is called and the dubbed american/uk version is called teknoman. i absolutely can not stand the teknoman version... the voice acting is not to my liking. if you dont mind using veoh you'll have to login to the site, as the episodes are rated 18+. i dont normally join sites like that cause usually there's a catch. but veoh is remarkably catch free. login and search Tekkaman Blade. there is actually first season and a few episodes of season two. as for where you can get teh entire series online im not sure, i only found teh series up to... 42 or 43 i think. and there are 49 episodes. tekkaman blade is actually quite enjoyable. it has a certain guyver feel, and a great threat to earth story line.

thanks ryuki. um... how would you suggest i go about making realistic ash? chances are i'll take any advice you are willing to give me, and then try to adapt it to my style. i played with the brush tool and its options, but im afraid i havent a good idea as to what falling ash is suppose to look like...

i added some words to trial 3. for some reason having the words War and Shores is ominous and sends a shiver down my spine, so i thought i'd share. to me, the words help sell the ash look. thats just me. o yeah, in case anyone is wondering. this kamenrider doesnt have a name yet, i been tossing around some ideas like Blitz or PointBlank, but none really seems to stick to me. i finished the second Rider. Strafe. i'll post him when i make him all cool looking like i did for the trials. as for this rider, i just made it up. still working on fine tuning the story but i have hammered out nearly all the details.

rememeber that line art i was working on? well i finished it... i should say, i nearly finished it but i cant decide on what the foreground should look like. (incase i used the wrong word, im referring to the space between the viewer and the object of main focus. this is trail one. its foreground is clear. this is trial 2. it contains a orange hazy mist. and this is trial 3. it has the same hazy mist, with what i hope comes off as ash in the air. any thoughts on which looks better?

this is one some will be familiar with, i entered it into the art comp. unfortunately, i havent been able to replace the yellow with green... cant figure that one out. now here is something some should remember from the other topic i have in the imagery section. this is 4th page of the six page conglomerate i doodled up. i have everything on different layers. i finished the sky part, and it's its own layer. and im in the middle of the mountain layer. havent touched teh building layer the aliens layer and the guyver three layer. what i posted is the guyver one layer. its still being worked on, there is some parts missing, like the orb details and the green mist im gonna put on the melted hfb on guyvers arm, the blue glowingness of the other arm and the pressure cannon deally. and, enjoy. aahhhh... i'll go ahead and repost the 4th page. here is the guyver part of the page, it is missing the design goodies i listed in the last post. enjoy.

and this is something im working on... code for "hey, i forgot i was doing this" i had colored this with colored pencils, but the file was big. so im not that worried about it. so instead i'll show the line art. this is the last thing i've completed. im still in the middle of the basic coloring for the pic. um i just realized... i have no idea how large these files are. i do not believe they are massively huge, but i guess so should warn ya. i have one guyver vs aliens thats huge. i'll try to resize that one. its not finished, but i do want to post what i've done so far.

ok... wow. i have really neglected this page forever now... ok, so here are somethings i worked on. this is the kiva emblem i got from either ryuki or toku.... i forgot who posted it. this is a rider i made up when i got bored. i think i told toku about it, not sure who else. this is the line art i made after i scanned it. and this is the basic color scheme for it. and this is my horrible attempt to make it fancy. sadly its nothing like i was wanting... i was wanting to make it gleam, like... kabuto's red portions of his armor does.

i must confess, when i lived in Deston Flordia, i didnt have any problems with old people driving. but yeah toku, there where a lot of good looking ladies. ooo i do remember one old man. he was crossing the street in front of me, o my gosh... it was so freakin hilarious. not in a mean way either. he was doing his best to hurry, but at his age the best was like a fast 6 inch foot shuffle. but his arms was just a pumping and he looked over at me and he grinned this really weird grin. this i'll never forget.

i had a grand am. but when i was done, there was nothing grand about it. except maybe the front passenger window. it was the only thing left standing when my car finally died.

that happened to me before... i was in a rush to college not to miss an all important test. i ended up driving on the sidewalk to pass the old guy. this i dont recommend... took out a tire and nearly hit a mean old lady.

ah. good point. i completely forgot about that. still tho, would the unit recognize that a scar on a arm has no negative effects on its host and ignore it, while a ailment of alky's level is a serious conditon that should not exist on its host (because of the host's... dna template i guess.) what im getting at is this, a scar is the body already healed itself so no need to fix it. while whatever is up with alky, is a problem.

whose to say that a guyver unit cant read your dna and figure out that your no longer at 100% like if a guyver unit was given to a cancer patient. i believe that the unit would heal the host, based soley that the presence of cancer isnt suppose to be in a human body.

im with durandel. i dont see a need for me to get facebook. i have a myspace page, but i got bored with it 2 hours after i made it up. every other month or so i'll check on it. but like toku, im thinkin heavily on getting rid of it. i dont socialize much in real life. and i dont see a need to post my picture on a site for millions of people to ignore me. it is tempting to join the jl group but heck, i talk to you people on this site, which is quite fine for me. lol. and as for the movie? i only have one question.... why? is it suppose to be like some documentary type movie or are they trying to put a teenage or young adult swing on it to make it seem intriguing? sounds like crash n burn to me. yeah, i wasnt thrilled when i heard about it. lol.

if i ever do have to resize a project, i always do the line art. then i can just retrace it to make the lines bold and solid. im a slow learner so it took me a while to figure that little trick out. now that i think about it, i do remember you sayin something about you playin 40k now. whoops. my bad. are the tyranids the same thing as a genestealer? cause i really hate those. and the screamers... i see one of those i pop a vortex grenade and i high tail it quick like.
