Spoilers?

So if you like a movie a lot. Do you go online and look up spoilers on the plot and characters?....or do you not read spoilers?..... so when you go to watch the movie everything is a complete mystery.

 

Myself...I have always looked to spoilers on the net with movies and tv series, even to see what the next season is all about. I can't help myself. I just have to know what its going to be like. Just like with Thor 2 and The Avengers 2. I just had to know!...so when the movie ended I wasn't surprised with anything. I was AMAZED!

It's different in different cases.
sometimes when something is a massive spoiler, like it's a really big deal, then I would get really pissed off. like one time I was playing this roleplaying game. then my friend at the time sent me a text messaging saying "OMG I can't believe **** is dead!!!". well that really injured me emotionally. I can never have that experience. that point in that game could have been something really special for me, but instead it was ruined. that experience was stolen from me.
for other things I don't care so much. well, I tend to go along with what the creators release. so I look for a lot of information that the press releases give out. but once people have watched that movie or played that game, I'll try to keep away from it. 

in other cases where I get really angry at something, I'll just read everything about it to see if It is worth giving it a chance. I got really angry with metal gear solid phantom pain. I stopped playing it and I never would have played it ever, if I had not looked around for info and cutscenes etc. I did that so I could gauge whether it was worthwhile me working to get past the things that made me angry.

All I have to say is I have never seen the 6th sense because someone ruined it for me. Spoilers like seeing a costume or something is cool... but story spoilers? I would rather wait and see it. Why spend the much needed dough only to get the pop prior to viewing it. The same with comics. Love to see preview art, but I want to get my moneys worth while reading it.

I'm 100% avoiding spoilers. Recently a new game came out called SOMA (From Amnesia developers). It have some trailers and screenshots, but I managed to avoid them. Because when you start to play such a game you should know nothing about it.

 

But of course I watched DOOM trailers, you can't spoil the doom

 

And I most admit that I myself spoiling a lot. Like posting pics from new Guyver manga everywhere. I'm bad. But I must continue
