In light of the recent events of Secret Wars and the announcement by Marvel that Miles Morales is to be the main Spider-man in the renewed 616, I have to ask... are you a Parker purist or a Morales mark? In fairness to this post, I am a purist. But I want to hear what you think!! Help me understand this brave new world!! For I am scared...

I've not read much of the exploits of Morales so i really can't say much.  This gives opportunity to re-introduce Morales to those who are not really familiar with him.  I might be a pro-parker, but given what happened after one more day, I really didn't much like what happened to him after that.  I mean, making it seem like his marriage never happened?  I'm sure there are a lot of people who wants that kind of comics magic.  And then the superior story line.  I particularly liked that arc, but found the way it happened to be less appealing.  The way they switch mind and the way he came back?  That was weak story telling.

I'm a Parker kind of guy. Morales needs Parker to have a story to build off from. Over half of Morales' supporting cast is Peter's.
