Underworld 5 is now in production! I'm so excited. Again. There is no trailer to show on this although I wish. 

 

Kate Beckinsale is reportedly returning for Underworld 5. Scott Speedman returning.....thats a big negative. I wonder how this movie will do.

 

 

 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Beckinsale "has signed on to reprise her vampire character, Selene, in the fifth installment in the franchise from Lakeshore Entertainment and Screen Gems."

 

 

Divergent's Theo James will also return as David, who was introduced in Underworld: Awakening. THR adds that Underworld 5 "is said to focus on a new and younger generation of vampires and werewolves who are locked in a seemingly never-ending battle between supernatural races."

 

Cory Goodman penned the script and Anna Foerster (Outlander) will direct. Shooting is said to begin this October in Prague.

I'm a huge Underworld fanatic! I am REALLY looking forward to this. It's funny, my friend and I just had an Underworld marathon, because his GF had never seen it. 

I wonder if this installment of Underworld is gonna be any good, since Beckensale is not gonna be returning this time round and I've heard the story is gonna be more focus on Selene's Hybrid Daughter.
