October 10, 200817 yr i have to diagree on some of the info that was given about Sean Barker and the movies Guyver units. First the environment is not New York its somewhere in L.A. as stated in Guyver: Dark Hero by Atkins as he talked with Barker about the different Kronos headquarters. Second Its more likely that the year is more around 1988-1992 given the fact that Guyver: Dark Hero took place a year after the events of the first guyver movie, and I don't believe that music, clothing style and vehicles would change so drastically in a one year span. Also the Moped seen in guyver one seemed to be more of a 1980's model then a 1950's. Now the third can be a bit more tricky, Given the Facts we know happened in Japan with Sho around 1985 i can see where the unit 0.8 came from, now if you look deeper, more will come to light. For starters it is stated in the manga that Kronos had been studying the relic (AKA: ships) in japan for some time it was also the first ship the found, they also knew that there were several "ships" left by the creators during there retreat and that the "ships" gave off some type of energy that could be traced all over the world, given the reason why Kronos had funded the dig Site in the U.S. and also how Barkers unit was already in America. Now given that info I believe that Barkers unit whuld be more like Guyver 4 or US-Unit 1 given that guyver 1, 2, and 3 showed up within months of each other around 1985.
