March 15, 201313 yr on the merchandise page http://japan-legend.com/wiki/index.php?title=Guyver:_Merchandise i have put up what box covers i have collected in the max factory pre painted kits and there are a few missing can anyone help with the missing pictures or have better quality ones than those uploaded. can any tell me if this is max factory guyver 1 if so which bfc.
March 16, 201313 yr yes, it is, but was more of a limited edition item rather than part of the bfc range. as you can see on the cover, the item number zx002. there was three limited edition items. zx001- zxtole glow in the dark zx002-guyver1 chest burst zx003-aptom III
March 19, 201313 yr Author your absolutely right only after looking closely the aptom version i put was was the zx003 model kit , it was a limited edition where the model was the same as elegen bfc 11 but the the head and chest piece was the only difference between the two, nice quality scan .I will change it in a bit. If anybody can get more info on this please bring it forward. i would like to say thanks for your help during this project without this help i couldn't get the covers i was looking for..cheers
March 19, 201313 yr Now that you have all three limited edition models, you can categorize them together, separate from the bfc group.
March 20, 201313 yr Author great pics nice quality thanks giuyver fan i will put them up shortly. I am now in the process of looking for a few other scans, do you have by chance the max factory guyver zoanoid i could only find this one ?
March 21, 201313 yr Yeah, i do, but its nothing special, the cover is just a photo collage of zoanoid guyver, hundreds of pics on the net.
March 21, 201313 yr Author yeah i found loads of pictures of the model sprayed up and they look awesome but finding the original box cover is hard to find . i found only a few but small in size, Goes anyone have this box cover we can use.
March 22, 201313 yr Author guyverfan you are a star did you have these kits or did you find them yourself if so you are gonna let me know what your using to search for them as i cant find them i use search engines and translate them to japanese and chinese and search but never find the images you produce.
March 22, 201313 yr yeah, their all mine, thats why image quality is slightly better than what you normally find.
March 24, 201313 yr very nice work guys some great images right there! by the way, I want to mention something I used to have. I have no idea what happened to it, but I used to have a box that looks similar to those ones up there. in the box was a pre-painted enzyme model. I only know that a lot of the parts were missing, some of the claws and the eyes were not present. it's a shame, it was a really nice model, I think it was an original. I don't have the box anymore but I remember that picture of guyver 1 was on hte back and the front was a colour picture of enzyme. it looks like that one http://www.japan-legend.com/wiki/index.php?title=File:Bfc12.jpg I think. anyway... I am not sure if that helps in any way whatsoever
March 24, 201313 yr Author i love the models but i would hate to have the original max factory ones because once they are out of the box and fully assembled they have lost their value you can't really sell them so i think they are for profit only nowadays.I dont mind the recasts you can paint them, spray them if you mess up the model wasn't that expensive and you can appreciate the model more. They will be one of a kind because you alone have painted it the best way you can, and when it comes to drawing them you have a better understanding of the proportions and detail. I have just bought myself a compressor and gonna start airbrushing my models fun times ahead.
April 18, 201312 yr here's what i was talking about earlier, the box art was different in colour while the models still remained the same. Edited April 18, 201312 yr by guyverfan
April 18, 201312 yr Author i noticed that too from some of the elfin box covers i thought at first it was the age of the box but i just went with the picture with the best detail and size. I wonder if its to do with either releases like first or second release or my other assumption was that it was released for another country.. Nice pictures by the way gonna update with the wiki one but which colour hhm.. IF ANYBODY HAS PICTURES BETTER THAN THE ONES ON THE WIKI MERCHANDISE PAGE PLEASE PUT THEM UP SO I CAN UPDATE THEM.
April 20, 201312 yr Author good spotting Guyverfan and thanks for the picture too, i will pop it onto the sever later. You know i dont even remember how i missed that one i think i was getting ahead of myself. .
April 23, 201312 yr good stuff, thanks guyverfan! hey guys, about those different coloured boxes. the second one is missing yellow pigment. the most likely reason for this is that either the printer ran out of yellow ink or the yellow pigment was photoreactive and decayed from being under a display lamp. I doubt it was intentional.
September 23, 201411 yr I don't mean to resurrect this thread, but with regards to the OP, I was wondering if the parts for that model kit required paint. Does someone know if Max Factory at any point sold any pre-painted models of this? I recall in the data file book there being pictures of a fully-colored Guyver 1 with his smasher open, though I'm not sure if it was ever released that way. The one I have is pictured below. Any input would be great. Thanks!
September 23, 201411 yr Author i dont think the early ones were pre painted , i had guyver 1 with standard pose max factory original and it came as a greyish color.
