durendal Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 plans here, probably the same but probably easier. for me at least. I'll have to give that some focused thought very soon. Aether oh well, at least you gave it a go! please phrase it more like this :- >it didn't run out as planned, but you must have gotten a great deal of value out of it How you said it seems as though it was a wasted venture, but it was far from wasted. I have learnt so much. I learnt that I love kids. I will miss those guys. I learnt that my family thinks more of me than I realised. I learnt how to deal with multiple new situations. I learnt how to get past some of my hang-ups. I learnt that happiness is more closely related to individual people than arbitrary locations. I gained a degree of personal strength and also learnt of some of my weaknesses and am able to accept them. I learnt a lot more things than this but I am of course still processing. Now you understand where I was coming from when I posted that image (sit down, try not to cry, cry a lot) a few weeks back. I can't view youtube in the office at the moment so I'll get to that later. One probable reason why your phone can't connect to the network is due to different frequencies. In Korea, they use UMTS 2100. Does your phone support this particular frequency? While I was in the states, my Nokia E66 wasn't able to connect to any of the networks due to the limitation on my phone, but my blackberry curve was able to do so. Carrier relations/partnership also plays a vital role in connectivity. If your carrier does not have a native partner, I'd imagine you won't be getting any signal at all. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted February 27, 2013 Author Posted February 27, 2013 It could be that. but I don't know. my phone is an Iphone 4. I thought Apple made these things to work in many countries. I mean, what point is it for them to bring out a product that will not suit a high end business client who may visit many countries? maybe it's an efficiency thing though. Oh yes... ha ha that image does make a little more sense now! though, I did not get emotional in that way. I only generally tend to get overwhelmed with emotion when I am happy. In situations when I may get sad, I usually channel it and transform it into affirmative action. Quote
