Guest Jez Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Hey guys, currently in talks with one of the model/practical effects guys that worked on the Guyver 2 Dark Hero Movie, in regards to him making a replica mask. Obviously its going to be pretty high quality so its not cheap, he said he would be willing to do it but would need about 8 people to commit. Thought i would post here first, see if any of you were interested. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 commit to buying one. I think this is a great idea. If I had managed to find a job, I would say i'm in but i am still hunting Quote
Aether Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 it wont help me, i know i cant afford it!!! if you do get enough to get them produced keep us informed we'd all like to see the end product. Quote
Guest Jez Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Price wise im still finalizing stuff with him. I just wanted to gauge interest at first. Hes currently working on a prototype so i will post up some pics when hes finished it. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I think what people want to know is what exactly you mean when you say it will be pricey. see, some people may think pricey is between 50 and 100 pounds. some other people think it means between 200 and 400 pounds. some people think pricey means between 600 and 1000 pounds. I think you need to at least give a ball park figure for people to be able to gauge. personally, I would have thought it might be around the 400 mark. but i could be way off. Quote
Guest Jez Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 ye thats a fair way off. ball park talking about £1000, but again, will have to wait and see what the prototype looks like. Ive basically asked him to do a high end replica of the movie mask, obviously its quite a complicated design. Same guy that sculpted the movie power ranger helmets. Hes worked on loads of movies over the years. Quote
