Hmm... they do seem to be broken. I think any form of help would be very beneficial. Especially now that I find out that those links I provided are down. This is actually a big find, since I think those books of yours might contain detailed information on specific merchandise. I especially liked the Sentai book that compiles all the mechs of all sentais. I have to admit, the sentai series is a daunting task that I'm not sure I'm prepared to start it any time soon. Though I do hope we'll eventually get there.

For the moment, I think it would be great if you could scan a couple or more relevant pages so we can add it to the wiki.

I'm glad that this is a good haul, I thought it was.

I look at the size and quality of the pictures and am very impressed.

also, in the dedicated books, there are lists of information like episode guides etc.

my reading is quite good but i find this a bit of a struggle so I couldn't type them in myself, I was thinking i could scan them in at a good quality and then you could use them for your future projects.

the original owner of these books is not going to return for a few years and the things that were left behind seem to be unsafe so I'm looking after these. for all intents and purposes they are mine but i need to take care not to damage them. so I can't get full scans of the entire page as i have to be careful not to damage the spine.

so I am in favour of 'holding back' on any big scanning because it'll be awkward.

what would you want mostly. how much can you tell from the video? if you have a look see what you can spot, then i can take photographs of some of the pages of whatever you are interested in, then i can scan those that you decide you want.

I've seen some pretty nice images of zabee and other kabuto riders that would look really nice on our kamen rider kabuto page. there are also some images here that would be very useful to those who like doing wallpapers and banners.

I really can't say at the moment because what caught my eye was the sentai robo book. They have lot's of many shiny stuff. . For the newtype, I think it's your call, didn't really see much of the contents so I really can't say what to scan.

And of course I do understand your concern for the welfare of the books. I myself am hesitant in scanning some of my Japanese manga. But if it's only the information we want, I guess a clear hires photo of the section would do nicely. But for the nice images, I'm afraid I have no sense of artistry to determine what photos would look nice. I'll have to rely on you for that.

ok, which book do you mean? because both books have images and information on sentai robo's. one is information about teach series, the actors, the bad guys and the robos. the other book is about the toys. it has production design of each robo and the image of the toy.

I'll take a photo of the important section from each book for one series.

I would like the scans of the Sentai Mechs, but I'm not going to be able to do anything about them at the moment, since I haven't started working on the Sentai Wiki pages yet. I think I can incorporate the articles about the Kamen Riders into the wiki, like interviews and the sorts. I'm actually thinking about how to make the wiki pages look like your browsing a magazine. I got this idea from an iPad facebook app that automatically arranges your wall posts and styles them like your reading a magazine.
