Since the strawhats just gathered together, we still haven't seen their full power yet. And judging the way the strawhats are man handling Hody's men, I think that they won't need to use their final trump card. But thinking further, Hody did face off against zorro and Zorro lost. I don't know if it's because of skill difference of due to the fact that Zorro had run out of air. But I'm hoping that the next chapter they would show how Hody fights. In all the chapters, we still haven't seen how Hody really fights.

Also, I'm thinking that since Luffy has mastered his hakki, do you think sea water would still be his weakness? We know for a fact that sea water negates devil fruit power, but hakki can also do the same.

Brooke seems to have hypnotic powers with his music, he was in the last chapter showing it.

I believe no matter how strong your haki is, water can still spell death for devil fruit users and I hope Hodi tries to exploit that weakness like Arlong did. True we haven't seen that Strawhats use their full power but thats what has me worried, right now they're toying with 100,000 fishmen! Fishmen are much stronger than normal people and they're being utterly destroyed by just 10 people...you think those officers are going to fair any better? Seeing how Dosun was captured by citizens of fishman island and Zeo was beaten to almost knocked out by his own soldiers my hopes are not hugh for satisfying battles here. I mean Ikaros is defeated if he gets close to to fire or heat...ahem Diable Jambe.

This is all speculation of course but this is what a lot of One Piece fans are afraid of. I mean durendal, if the straw hats utterly obliterate the new fishman pirates with little effort, are you going to be satisfied with that? I won't

Well, the strawhats are obliterating the fishman army without effort. If the odds are 100,000 vs 10, you'd expect that it would be a piece of cake for them to finish them off. But if it was like 10 vs 10, then you'd expect that they would have a hard time with their opponent. Unless of course that Hody is super strong that all his men are weak and all the strawhats need to work together to finish him off. I don't see the generals of Hody being that strong. Because aside from Hody, they still need to deal with Vander Decken, and that slimy pirate guy they kept in a barrel.

I dont see Vander Dekken being strong, he seems like a very stylish comic relief character. He's always just made me laugh and his actions just seem like Oda having times of fun.

I hope the officers are strong, if not then fishman island is going to be the biggest let down since the start of One Piece.

Yeah, finally a showdown we can look forward to. It's about time that the crew kicks some serious @$$. I'm betting that it would be an easy win for the Strawhats against the top guys of Hody. It's Hody that Luffy has to worry about.

Indeed, its one thing for luffy to fight hody on land where luffy has the advantage but now he must face him in the water, now we have a real battle!

But how about what happened to Vander Decken, was anyone expecting that?! I'm actually impressed with what Vander Decken can do in a fight. He has some deadly powers and those spikes in his sandals, nice touch. I did not expect him to be impaled and then cleaved by his own axe like that though...whats gonna happen now? I mean we've never seen what happens to a devil fruit user's active power when he dies...

Well, there's obviously two things that can happen. Either the arc continuously chase after shirahoshi, or the arc stops chasing shirahoshi and drops into fishman island. Either way, it spells difficulty to the strawhats. Even if it continues to chase after Shirahoshi, she can easily touch the arc to let it seemed like it hit her, and since it already made contact, will stop following her. Then the biggest dilemma is still the arc landing on fishman island. So aside from facing hody in a disadvantageous environment, Luffy is working on a time limit, as well as the consequences of the situation. Talk about being handicapped.

Well she can't just let Noah plummit and be destroyed either. Noah is being hinted as some sort of sacred relic like the Golden Bell was back on Skypiea so there's a dilema on top of a dilema

I was wondering something about Hyozou though, didn't he start out as a Santoryu user? Now that he's overdosed he breaks out like a dozen swords...what happened?

Probably had too much pot. And since he's an octopus, it's a waste not to use all your limbs. And having more swords does not necessarily mean he is better. I'm actually wondering how Zoro lost to Hody. If it's due to Hody's overwhelming power of simply because he ran out of air.

Well I'm not questioning why he's making use of all his limbs, I'm just commenting that he was established as a 3 sword user and now isnt...

I think its cause of the air issue. He fought Hody underwater and after he slashed him, the strawhats and neptune all fled the palace and Hody caught them using his steroids. Zoro even said his lungs were gonna burst (or something like that) when Hody caught him. I think Hody only became a threat to the strawhats after his overdose. Its looking like the New Fishman pirates aren't strong enough to fight the strawhats unless they abuse the steroids so I'm seeing they all abuse the steroids in battle.

I wonder though, both Hody and Hyozou have overdosed and become super strong...but does that mean they can take more steroids and get even stronger? Hody certainly seems like the type to abuse the steroids even more if he starts losing to Luffy in the water

I also think that Hody will abuse the steroids (well, he already did). I'm even betting that he'll lose not from the beating Luffy will give, but on overdose. It's also nice to see Jinbei in action. But Jinbei and Sanji against that giant? It's a little bit unfair don't you think? Unless that giant is going to pop some steroids too.

Well remember the giant is already on energy steroids. I kinda see the New Fishman Pirates all overdosing on the steroids to fight the strawhats.

I don't see Hody losing to his steroids but I do see him going after Fukaboshi rather than Luffy! Remember if Fukaboshi goes then Luffy is dead. I see Fukaboshi falling and maybe Shirahoshi or King Neptune taking his place...or Hachi XD

I wonder how Zoro will deal with Hyozou's poison touch...

I think Jimbei is more than enough to handle Wadatsumi, I think Jimbei is equal to Luffy at this point, maybe. He did after all take a Haki Punch and didn't cry about it like Hody does.

Ah, an interesting chapter. Though not as action packed as expected, the straw hats still managed to stand on their own. I'm actually looking forward to the Hody X Luffy fight, as well as the Zorro X Octopus fight. But the way things are going, it seems that Luffy will need to create another miracle to escape the current predicament.

So what are you predictions for the next issue? Noah crushes fishman island or Noah misses fishman island?

Well I want to see Brooke vs Zeo cause he's my favorite New Fishman Pirate.

I predict just before Noah slams into Fishman Island, Decken will get back up and throw the ship at Hody but Hody wont be scared and the battle will take place on Noah

But I think it would be predictable if the straw hats managed to save fishman island from the dropping of Noah. Sounds rather cliche actually. But is Decken's ability tied to his consciousness? Then again, there has got to be a reason why Decken mentioned him having touched hody else it would mean nothing.

I'm still rather confused as to Brookes true abilities. When he was first introduced, he was supposed to be a regarded swordsman who is almost at par with Zorro. But it seems he has forsaken his swordsmanship in lieu of his musical abilities.

No Brooke is not on par with Zoro, Brooke's power is to utilize his music skills with his fencing. His music has hypnotic abilities and affect your emotion and moods, relaxing you to the point of complete distraction. Then he exploits with his super speed and fencing skill. And now his soul can exit his body whenever he wishes.

Decken touched Hody so he could throw things at him and hit him without aiming. Decken isnt fast so theres no way he can hit a drugged up shark in the water, but thanks to his Mato Mato power he doesnt have to worry. I dont see how the strawhats can stop Noah without destroying it which I dont see happening because of how its been alluded to being this great meaningful symbol to fishman island. I totally see the brothers going into Noah and helping Decken, I hope thats what happens. I like Vander Decken, he makes me laugh; I dont want him to die D:

So Hody is beaten? Do you guys think Hody is really defeated or will the grudge keep him alive?

Is it me, or did we last see him munching more of his dope? I think the fight will still continue after Luffy is finished with Noah. Seems kinda cheap if Hody was defeated just like that.

Well, the strawhats pretty much owned everyone of the fishman pirates. Not much of a challenge if you asked me. And looks like Brook has improved his swordsmanship. Looks like the strawhats are coming out of this conflict unscathed.

Yeah, kinda disappointing. It looks like Luffy kinda finished Hody with a 1 hit kill. So that's it? The action was a let down, but there seems to be more to Shirahoshi as Robin starts asking questions.

Ooh, so Luffy has declared war on one of the Yonkou. This is interesting. I hope the fights are better than those of Hody Jones. We still haven't seen Luffy fight seriously yet.

Well the fight with the New Fishman Pirates was to show that an enemy that would have been trouble for the Strawhats 2yrs ago, cant hold a candle to the New Strawhats. Say what you will about that fight, I liked their battle

And OMFG Luffy challenged a Yonkou!!!! Now this is the Luffy I like to see. Luffy hasn't been like this since he punched a Tenryubito

i would say since he told sogeking to burn the world goverment flag while rescuing Robin but anyways the story is getting even better each chapter I am looking forward to seen how the time skip improved Kidd and Law since i really like those 2 supernovas.

But who is to say that Kidd and Law has not been done in by the world government or even Teach?

We've seen that Teach has somewhat taken over the place of Whitebeard, who knows what more heinous crimes he did during the time skip. But I'd like to see Luffy face off teach since I think that Teach was indirectly responsible for the the fate of Portgas.

I'd also like to see more of Dragon. Will Luffy join his cause of will they be clashing on the opposite side?
