*V Guyver Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?p=620952 It's freakin awesome! Quote
*Jess♥ Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 wow, that is pretty freaky! looks like this guy was practicing modelling muscle groups in zbrush. I'm not a big fan of zbrush to be honest, it is hard to model efficiently with it, I think it is best only for surface details for use in normal maps etc. but it is certainly nice to look at. Quote
*V Guyver Posted January 28, 2010 Author Posted January 28, 2010 (edited) I think that is the overall key to getting very professional models though, not to mention it saves you a lot of polygons. In the end it actualy makes the engine running the damn thing better since it doesn't need to render more poly's. The artist was afraid his work would be mistaken for Majin Buu instead of Guyver. His more updated pic have the image finnaly reaching it's true appearance. In time it will be finished with textures and colors, then it will truly awesome. I really wonder how much of it is going ot resemble the guyver in the end. I wonder if he'll ever do a Kamen Rider. Edit: Which reminds me, didn;t you use that same tool to work on the skin of a gregole model once? Edited January 28, 2010 by V Guyver Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 That's some fine attention to detail there; not the smoothest image, but it looks like a first-stage rendering, so I don't mind much. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Edit: Which reminds me, didn;t you use that same tool to work on the skin of a gregole model once? not that i remember. another member on here was working on a gregole with zbrush i think. it was a while back now and he hasn't posted in a while so I can't remember who. but the thread should be easy to find. edit: here it is http://www.japan-legend.com/forum/index.php/topic/1368-3d-zoanoid-model/ Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Oh, yeah, that one with the Zoanoid and Guyver models. Those were really cool. I wonder what those guys have been getting up to lately... Quote
*V Guyver Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 ahh yes, thanks for correcting me. For some reason I remembered it as you working on that. Yeah, those guys had done a great job too. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 You might have been thinking of the Gigantic head that he modeled. Quote
oogeej Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 This is how I'd imagine a guyver would look if you stripped its skin off. Quote
