Kamen Rider W (Double) Series discussion

thank you Toku Warrior, well, i finally got to watch the rider war movie 2010 and got some light shed into how these two became Double and got to see Kamen rider skull which is a cool design overall here is hoping he is still alive considering that they never found the body.

well episode 39 raw is up on youtube, how long does it take more or less for the known sub groups to sub an episode?

Depends on the people who work on it. I subscribed to someone called hardboiled. They post the subbed episodes.

TVN and OoZ both take about 5-6 days to sub and release a new Kamen Rider Episode. The group W-Time releases a soft sub episode within the first 2-3 days tops though, unlike TVN and OoZ, everything is translated and no special text effects are added.

i might watch some of those earlier releases if my computer could cope.

right now, I need to stick to the SD versions and hopefully no major strain on my pc.

i think TVN is the best choice either case. their SD version is usually pretty standard as far as most of the fansubs i have seen.

well watched up until episode 43 and it is turning out awesome, more is revealed little details about Ryu and why he is chosen by shroud to be a kamen rider

apparently his family is related to Philips somehow, hence why he can withstand the Old Dopants powers and shotaro can't and we get a quick look at Cyclone/Accel Extreme the reason why shroud wanted them both to be the new double in the first place

can't wait for the next episode.

got to say, episode 46 was rather special.

for the first time in this whole series, i got excited

46 was truly amazing and it brought a whole new level of bike usage for Kamen Rider in general. It was also one of Accel's shinning moments and where he truly kicked major butt.

I agree. accel was truly very good!

i was especially impressed with the special effects used for that big head monster. it was very solid, much better than previous special effects.

i was thinking to myself as i was watching 45 and 46 last night, this is become more like what kamen rider ought to be.

for the whole series it has seemed kinda odd and sort of vague, but now it is seeming to become more cohesive.

Well, seeing as Eps.48 aired just yesterday, it's now up on YT. I found a pretty good HQ version of it there but still in RAW format. I must admit that this is one of the best episodes of the series by far and truly signifies the bond that Shotarou and Philip have with one another. that and we get to see a new side of Saeko. In all this episode had me in tears at the end.

And you really get somewhat of a sense of closure with it. Not that W is done mind you. We still have one final episode left in the series. Eps49 airs next week people. Don't miss it. (WARNING - This is the RAW episode version. Don't watch if you wish to wait for a subbed episode. All talk pertaining to this episode please be placed in spoiler tags when mentioning certain parts of the viewed media in detail. Thank you)

Currently spending my next few days off from work working on a new project for this series. It's a TMV (Tokusatsu Music Video).

It will use scenes from all available episodes that I have in RAW format that Adobe Premiere will accept....which is a good 3/4 of them (38 episodes to be exact). Still can't find Eps.48 RAW for DL anywhere ATM.

The MV will be titled Farewell and will use the song 'Cyclone Effect (Acoustic Edit.)'. I plan on taking about a whole week on this song at most so that I can release it by Sunday evening. I prefer using RAW videos for my MV's as subtitles on footage can be distracting.

Yeah, no kidding. the song is over 5 minutes in length and it's trying to fit certain scenes to the right parts of the song that makes it hard. But I want to try and keep the video scenes in order of episode airing. A way of going through their adventures from 1 all the way up until 48 with bits and pieces here and there and scenes from movie war 2010 and Begins Night.

1 more episode and the movies left to see, this series was pretty good for me, definitely one of my favorites,....now if i can get the time to watch the other heisei series before Ooz Starts I can give the order in which i like each one of them.

I see, I don't usually check on Tv-Nihon so i thought he meant youtube. I want to quickly see the last episode so i can give my final thoughts on the series, although for now it is a solid B+, the final rating will all depend on how it ends, i hope it is good.
