Guyver video game?

Featured Replies

We've had three anime, two live-action movies, and several figurine lines but it amazes me that there's never been a Guyver-based video game. Not even so much as a Japan-exclusive mobile game.

The Guyver franchise would lend itself perfectly to an action-adventure game. Fighting zoanoids and unlocking new powers (sonic emitters, the megasmasher, Gigantic etc.) How awesome would that be in the hands of the right dev?

Though there are no official titles, there have been separate fan made or unfinished projects of video games or skins for certain games.  I know there are some skins for Skyrim and GTA: San Andreas.

I've seen Guyver characters in MUGEN (do a lookup on YouTube for "guyver mugen") although the animation frames for them were never great from what I saw.

Pretty crazy when you think of how many anime do get games. I still enjoy 8 man on neo geo =O Would love to see Guyver, Battle Angel, Gantz, etc.

It's probably due to licencing issues.  Also Guyver is still a currently active manga.  So making a game based on that is gonna be kinda hard.  It will just end up like the animes..
