Guyver HSL System

Featured Replies

Hello All,

My name's Irfan, long time lurker first time poster. I was wondering if its possible for a basic Guyver to create a HSL via the Gravity Orb, like what the Gigantic does when it forms the Exceed? After all, the armour itself is stored in hyperspace when not active.

Unless it is upgraded by a separate module equipped with an HSL system or is further upgraded by the matrix to a warrior class guyver or anything equivalent and above that...a normal guyver would not be able to replicate the HSL system. When activated the guyver is fully charged with energy from the boost dimesion and this charge slowly gets less the longer the unit is active, and the more the host uses powerful attacks the greater this loss of energy. The gravity orb supplies only a small amount of energy from the boost dimension just enough to provide the power needed to activate certain weaponry. As time goes on it's effectiveness grows less and less as the host becomes exhausted from a loss in bio-energy.

Close Juggernought but the Gravity Control Orb siphon isn't quite that limited... the energy siphon is the reason the Guyver can regenerate and it can recharge even the Mega Smashers if given enough time.

It's just that full combat will drain energy faster than the energy siphon can replenish but it otherwise serves as a very basic HSL.

The WG HSL though works more like the Bio-Boost and thus provides enough energy to not only allow an increase in total power but to maintain that level of power indefinitely.

Oh ok, so then technically a normal guyver would be able to remain active as long as they like if they don't expend the energy?

Yes, pretty much... only the Gigantic will auto de-activate if it uses up too much energy. A Guyver Unit can stay on until the host de-activates it or something effects the CM.

Though their brain is still human, so things like sleep are still a normal limitation. But the unit removes most of the other organs because the host doesn't need to eat while using the Unit.

Thanks for the update Zeo, although I'm not clear on what you mean by the unit removing most of the other organs?

The guyver is designed to be totally efficient. So upon activation many of the host's organs or bodily functions are removed or simply replaced with something more efficient and better in order to make the Guyver more powerful and resilient to damage. Therefore it wouldn't be limited by the host.

If you go and read this topic : Bio-Booster Armor Guyver in this same forum (Science Lab) it is discussed there quite extensively.
