Seems Suidobashi Heavy Industries is at it again and are on track for selling a commercial mech... The company previously created a 12.5ft tall mech prototype, that was partially controlled using Microsoft’s Kinect sensor. Now the company showed off a completed version of the Kuratas recently in Japan...

Not cheap though, starting price is 1.3 Million before any customization...

That thing is sweet: 6000+ plastic BBs per minute from both Gatling cannons, and compressed-water propelled plastic rockets. Alas, they start at $1.35 million US, but you can have one custom-built on their webpage, at least within certain limits.

I now know what I'm saving my money for the next 10 to 15 years to get. ^^

They'll hopefully have a more affordable model by then ;)

Though, if they get too practical then we may see the first mech war sooner rather than later. :shock:
