daveblackeye152 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Guyver game. If anyone cares or can recall a member called Brolly wanted to create a Guyver game with some kind of RPG engine. I was interested in writing so we hooked up and I started writing. Since it's been two years I'd say it's okay to show anyone that's interested the stuff I got done. Anyone want to see the script for chapter pictures I made? And I wouldn't be surprised if this gets moved to the game section. Quote
guyverfanatic Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Shouldn't this be in another section? Quote
largo Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Remember guyverfanatic we don't have a rpg section any more, don't you remember they all jump went to another site because of the volume of there stuff it was mess'n with the server. If I remember correctly. Quote
W'Kar Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Moved. Yeah, I'd love to see them. What engine? RPG Maker perhaps? Quote
daveblackeye152 Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 *Update* *spoilers to the anime series and comic since I've used stuff from those sources* Sorry guys something is wrong with the computer and it'll have to be another day that I upload the more interesting stuff. Guess I'll just sumarize part II where quite a few odd things happened which I think a few of you would have disliked. Chapter 1: Valcuria recovers the second unit, fixes it, becomes Guyver II. Joins Sho's side. (Eye brows raised yet?) Chapter 2: Meet Guyot and Balcus. The Lost Numbers are sent after the player. Somlum and Dyme get killed by a mysterious Guyver. (Guyver 0 who leaves). Aptom mistakens it for Guyver I and swears vengenace. Meanwhile Murakami is seemingly killed by a new Panadyne and Zerebuse (I would have made them Powered versions). Chapter 3: Aptom and Guyver I do battle. Fumio and co kidnapped. Chapter 4: The Three Guyvers go after Minikami. Bosses included recreated Enzyme One's. One even attacks Yohei's cabin only to be killed by Guyver 0. Sho's father becomes Enzyme II and destroys Sho's brains. Only to be killed by the defenseive Guyver Unit. Chapter 5: Everyone meets back at the cabin. Only for Enzyme II's to attack. Sho suddenly can't bio booster, Agito and Valcuria are injured. Guyver 0 shows up and destroys the three Zoanoids with ease. After having a very long time to master the unit. They all get to Takeshiro village only for all of the residents change into Zoanoids. Murakami returns and is somehow able to control them for a little while. But Balcus is stronger and orders Panadyne II and Zerebuse II to finish the group off. Player defeats the Hyper Zoanoids and Aptom seems to be spying on the gang. Chapter 6: Balcus orders for back up, the Hypzer Zoaonid Five. They leave the Arizonia base. Murakami begins to explain what Zoalords are. Guyot attacks the group and dwarves the player's power. Sho and Mizuki were away and see an explosion. Fearing their friends have been killed. Chapter 7: Aptom makes Sho realize he killed his father. He regains the ability to transform. Aptom shows he's been upgraded and the two battle with Guyver I defeating Aptom. Sho leaves the remains of Aptom who reforms into half a body, he crawls away to hide somewhere to regenerate. End of Part II. So yeah I was actually planning on Valcuria and Guyver 0 to be playable characters. I'm kind of neutral to it. Older stuff... Well since someone's interested I'll post stuff later. We did have a demo but I don't have it. We really did try but life got in the way and there was only two of us. I'll post stuff tonight or tomorrow. And yes it was RPG maker. I'll do some posting tomorrow. But I'm looking at the script and it's pretty atrocious. DX XD Oh well I tried and I'll post the parts up anyway. For now I'll just tell you folks about Part I. Put I will say there were a few differences from the sources. *spoilers since this stuff happened in the animes and manga* The game was going to have three parts and each part was going to have about five-seven chapters. Part I was pretty much going to cover the first book. Guyver II was going to have a longer part. And you should know this was before the Guyver anime series came out so we would have done it first. Murakami was going to show up early. From the start he was going into Proto battle form. Though now I'm thinking it would have been pretty cool if that was just a limit break move while he usually fought in his human mode with super strength and could buy upgradable Buster Guns. Part I: Pretty much episode/issue 1 and is tutorial. Part II: A bunch of Zoanoids attack Sho, free roaming. Pretty much have to escape the battle area. Part III: Vamores attack, Murakami shows up and helps kill them. IV:Panadyne was going to try to capture Fumio only for Guyver I to show up. He pursues Panadyne who nearly captures Mizuki instead only for Guyver I to catch. Zoanoid flees again and uses a radio (I know better now!) to call for back up. Guyver III shows up and helps Guyver I kill Panadyne. V:There would have been a part where Zerebuse, Zoanoid group, and Guyver II kidnapping the usual kidnappable characters. Forcing Guyver I and Murakami to surrunder since they couldn't attack all three at once. But they don't know about Guyver III so they attack at once and force Guyver II to retreat. VI:Guyver II forces Sho to face him and it is he who kills Sho. (I know this kind of lowers Enzyme's awesome factor but he got episode five of the OVA). VII:Murakami attacks Chronos Japan tower. Guyver III attacks the center. Guyver I revives and goes berserk. All three catch up and go after Risker who releases Enzyme I. Genzo is mad at Risker for changing him but he promises if he kills the intruders he'll change him back. Enzyme dies, all three battle Guyver II and kill him. Tower collapes. Onto part II. If you thought the summary was bad just wait for the script. Quote
Thunder Demon1472669266 Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 It does sound interesting. And curiously an entertaining thought that this could be pulled off. Albeit, a very long time since there's only two of you working on it. Quote
daveblackeye152 Posted October 4, 2007 Author Posted October 4, 2007 *Older stuff below...* Sorry about the lack of updates. Busy week. I'll post more pictures later. I'll take about the fighting moves. So each Guyver character had the basic vibration blade, head beam, mega-smasher, pressure cannon, and sonic buster moves. But I thought it would be boring if each character sprite not only looked the same but had the same moves so I thought up some special unique moves for each one. Oh yes and each one could use the pressure cannon to dig underground in order to appear next to an enemy and cut them. So copied and pasted from the file. (I rather like Guyver 0's moves.) Guyver I: Drop Kick. Guyver I leaps up and jumps behind the enemy while driving his feet into the enemies back. Knee Kick: Guyver I rams his knee into enemy. Guyver I did this trick to defeat Zerebubuse in the anime. Air Slash: Guyver I jumps into the air and comes down while slashing the enemy. Sonic Combo. Guyver I uses "Sonic Attack" but then does body slam. (Got idea from Guyver I killing Darzerb in episode 6) Guyver II (Valcuria): Torpedo Attack. Guyver II dives forward and smashes into enemy. Risker did this move when he and Sho started fighting (anime). Airial Rapid Kick. Guyver II jump into the air and then comes down and ,without land, rapid kicks enemy many times very quickly (Something like this actually happens in Guyver 2 Dark Hero) Gold Kick. Guyver II gives a kick that's stronger than "Super Kick". (Guyver II rush forward with one of her legs gold and theres a gold star when enemy is hit with "Gold Kick") Killing Grapple. Guyver II puts enemy in condition where enemy can't do anything and enemy loses medium to high damage each turn. Guyver III: Pierce Punch: Guyver III gives a powerful punch to the enemy which can also cause stun (I think we have stun in the game) Head Crush: Has a low chance of succes but if used on Zoanoid can kill in one hit. Used against Hyper Zoanoid or Boss can cause medium to high damage. Unseen Slash: Guyver III disappears and all enemies on field get hit with Vibration Blades. We can't see Guyver III but we see the slashs on the enemies. Cheapshot. Guyver III uses vibration blade to disable one attack from enemy(this part cause no damage), then Guyver III "Dark Punch" enemy. "Dark Punch" is stronger than Super Punch. (Works the same as Valcuria's "Gold Kick" except it's a punch and it's dark. Murakami: Super Kick. Murakami does a very powerful kick and does high damage. Rapid Punch. Murakami punches enemy several times very quickly. Guyver 0 Pressure Cannon Rain. Guyver 0 fires large pressure cannon in the air but it comes down and divides into however many enimes there are and hits all of them. Ray Cannon. Guyver 0 fires a long beam of energy from his head cannon and it cuts through all enimes on field. Surprise Megasmasher. Takes two turns 1st) Guyver 0 jumps up into the air. 2nd) When it's the next turn a megasmasher blasts hits the enimes and Guyver 0 lands back in postion. While in mid air Guyver 0 can't be atacked but can't recieve healing. Death Sonic. Low chance of success but if successfull kills every Zoanoid in battle and if Boss/Hyper Zoanoid is in battle causes high damage. (What attack looks like is, On the enemies half of the battle field a huge "sonic attack" covers all of them. ****** We've pretty much stopped but I'd be more than willing to start again. The problem was there was too much to program for one person. We couldn't even get part one done to show off to people to get them interested. *update* Got some pictures. This first one is of a Chronos Japan's lab. In the corner there's a bunch of non-battle characters. The second one contains all the titles for the first portion of the game. Brolly did the first four screens there, I did everything else. I'm still kind of proud of those. http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/2931/chronosap3.jpg http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/3348 ... pegst9.jpg I'll put up more later. Plenty of stuff. Quote
Bobby Demosthenis Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 So, how long till this game is ready? I am going to work in that industry (game design) and I am going to Uni in 2010 to do my Degree in Computer Design. Maybe a Guyver game would be an idea I could put forward to the company that I end up working for.... I am going to brush my 3d max skills and try to work on a Guyver 1 model or maybe a completely new Guyver.... Once I have something I'll post it up! Bobby Quote
