The Guyver....

Hi everyone!

This is my first post, just a few questions.

When the Creators first made the Guyver units, were they designed to totally replace the Zoanoids or just to fight their wars for them?

Do we know what the creators looked like?

What are the prupose of the Zoalords and howcome Balcus and Guyot were shocked to find out that Murakami was the 13th Zoalord? Howcome they didnt know there was one?

Does the Guyver have a defense against the corosive Enzymes?

Cheers!

THe guyver unit was simply armor (or something) which could be used for the creators in order to interact with the physical world.

Creators have no physical body. As seen in vol. 14 (i think), the creator's are just represented as the shining control medal.

Edit: The Creators grew up in space, so there was no need for a physical body as they (I assume) evolved beyond the use of one.

Edit 2: on second thought, the guyver unit was more of a regular tool for the creators, not a tool of war as it used by a human aka Guyver 0.

The zoalords are created to control zoanoids. Hence the hierarchy of:

Creator -> Zoalord -> zoanoid

The Guyvers have no defense against the corrosive enzymes.

I hope that helps. :)

Murakami isn't exactly an elite zoalord, so Balcus and Guyot was oblivious to his personification. During the conflict in Arizona between the four prototypes and the zoalord 12- - the guinea pigs were thought to be smitten, but Masaki Murakami was the only one to survive. So, that's why they were surprised, and Guyot was so trembled due to his own battleform guises Murakami.

and the rest of the questions were pretty much answered.

I'm not quite sure i understand what you mean by this but the guyver units came into existence long before zoanoids. we are not even sure the creators actually made the guyvers but we suspect this is the case.

the guyver unit (as is already stated) is a tool and the creators, after making their army of humans/zoanoids, were curious as to how their tool would react with their creation.

for more info try studying episode 11 of the anime or get the books.

I've only just become interested in the Guyver again as i loved it years ago. So i haven't yet delved into the lore of The Guyver universe.

Anyway i asked the question whether the Guyver was created to replace Zoanoids because in the live action film 'Guyver: Dark Hero' Shaun/Sean/-The Guyver says that the Guyvers were a 'failed' experiment that were originally intended for use in the Creators wars.

I'm also aware that the limited books that have been translated were by Viz Communications which apparently aren't that good. So if i want to read the latest volume it'll only be in Japanese?

Thanks for the links! I'll definitely be buy from them!

Just a quick question, i have seen all the 12 part animated Guyver series but it was a long time ago and i've forgotten things! So the Zoalord that Murakami morphs into, whar are his weapons and what's his special abilities besides mind control?

Since Murakami was only a Proto-Zoalord, he only had a few abilities. Among others: hand beam, head beam, barrier, super strength (on par with a guyver perhaps?), and of course, telepathy. :)

So did the Creators make thousands of Guyver units when activated turned against the Creators or only a handul?

The Creators left because the Guyvers became too many and were immune to telepathy?

Guyver in the creators' language means out of control.

When the creators decided to see what would happen when giving a guyver unit to a human. (their weapon for their intergalactic war). The bio-boosted human had tremendous power! The creators told to remove his armor and Guyver 0 responded by opening a megasmasher plate and blowing away one of their ships. They sent their greatest creation, Alkanphel, to kill remove the unit and kill the host, which he did. :( The creators then left. Alkanphel asked why they were leaving. They used a psychic attack on him. Afterwards they sent a moon towards Earth intent on destorying it. Alk used his most powerful attack and obliterated the moon, saving Earth. Unfortuantely this sapped all his power. Now, he is slowing dying. He created Chronos in order to attack the creators from trying to destroy Earth.

Um, the control metal can act as a mental link. Control metal's can be plugged into a host's brain. I think what we were seeing in vol 14 was a group of boosted creators useing the relic as an avatar. No creator was ever on Earth for the experiment. In the drawing, we never saw a metal shine of a control metal, just the circular lights to signify a control metal signal.

I meen, if the boost armor is a tool, wouldn't this be one way they would use it?

Yeah, I agree. But, since I can't read Japanese, you got to cut me some slack.

So there may still be Relic ships buried on Earth and potentially more Guyver units?

If Guyver 0 had know more about the armour's capability could he have destroyed Alkanphel?

I've got an old copy of the comic somehere and i swear i remember reading that the Creators had an 'unit remover' weapon?

Did Alkanphel use that weapon then kill the host or did he just annihilate the Guyver unit?

In the comics universe there's only 3 active Guyvers?

Well there is Guyver US from the movies, so yes there could be more ships and units on Earth.

Guyver 0's power = 100 men

Alkanphel's power = 4,000 men

Alkanphel did use the unit remover to remove Guyver 0's unit and then fried him.

In the Manga, there are 2 active units since Guyver 1 killed Guyver 2.

SPOILERS!!!!

just to elaborate a bit more, the guyver on its own would not stand even the remotest chance against alkanphel. alkanphel has ultimate power over any of the zoalords. when gyuo tried to fight against alkanphel he wasn't even phased by any of his attacks. to use as a comparison the effect that guyver 3's megashmasher has on gyuo is not as devastating as we might expect. this is the guyvers ultimate weapon and when agito fired it at him (albeit at half power) gyro was not destroyed. also we have seen alkanphel take the unit off of guyver 0. the most notable part is where guyver 0 fired his full mega smasher at alkanphel and alkanphel just shrugged it off. and then there was the time on top of the relic when both guyver 1 and guyvr 3 fired their full megasmasher at him and he just turned it back on them without so much as blinking..... i think you get the picture!!!!

I'm sure he does have a weak point. The most obvious i think, is the fact he's so drained after the recent events in the comic.

Alkanphel does have a vast source of energy for attacks, but it's not unlimited. Otherwise, i think he'd have wasted the Guyvers and any resistance against him long ago.

Si, si

Alkaphanel is awfully strong, regardless of his depleting bio energy predicament. I doubt Alk's weaker than a Guyver at the moment, Drag. I'm insinutating that he'd still be able to pwn Sho and Agito without trouble. Oh yeah, in volume 15... Alkaphanel was attacked by Guyver 0 with half-powered megasmasher... G0 didn't open both chest plates... I'm just clarifying. So thanks!

I don't know if this has been posted, if it had been, I'm sorry. New here.

The creators made Archanfel to be their general in some kind of war in book 15. But what happen was when they tested a guyver unit on a human, an armor the creators themselves use, the result went all wacky, so to speak. As those who saw the anime know, a human inside a guyver can no longer be telepathicly controled. The same works for human turn zoanoids. Thus with the chain of command broken, the creators concluded that their weapons was a failure.

The guyver IS the creator races, hinted at a few times in the books and the anime as being a joint organization with different alien species, the creators use their guyver units as a single common ground. All creator wear this armor, so even if they don't all look the same, talk the same or what not, this armor with telepathic ability included, can in effect, make them one.

With the fact that the bio-booster armor multiply the wearer's strength and power, the human has just gotten a whole lot less friendly. A weapon that you could have no control over, and a power that can wipe out your army with ease, the guyver + human is the utimate bane. As quoted from a line spoken by the creators to Archanfel as they were leaving earth: "Where we are, the bio-booster armor will also be." To put it simply, things don't work out. And fearing this resistance to their control, as all empire are, leads us to the rock throwing moon moment. Needless to say, Archanfel, who once looks to the creators as lords and masters, felt greatly rejected by the their cold hearted action, went all indepentent at that point, and are now actively seeking to repay them for what they've done.

For those who were wondering why archanfel keeps on sleeping like that, it was revealed to us by good old Dr. B that when Archy follow the creators out into space, and they shocked him with some kind of bolt, might as well be from his own body, it was a wound he could never quit recover from. And the effect of that keeps him from awakening 24/7. And instead of getting better, he seems to be losing time, and that's why its important for Imakarun to find the remover and the guyver unit before its too late. Why the guyver have anything to do with archanfel not falling asleep out of the blue I have no idea.

All this I gathered from the chinese version of the guyver comics, I'm a regurlar reader on this board and seeing how alot of people here are mislead one way or another, throught I could clear up things abit. Hope this help.
