Guest Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 Looks like a great model. The detail work is fantastic.
*Jess♥ Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 are you sure that is the maxfactory one? the quality doesn't look like their usual standard.... plus we haven't seen versions that complete on their own page yet. or am i just missing the point completely and this is a really old one?
Matt Bellamy Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 Actually, judging from the pic of the dissasembles parts, that IS indeed the Max Factory Murakami. Although the paint job on the crystal doesn't look all that great, the body is definatly the MaxFactory figure.
Guest Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 well, if that doesn't beat all... I always figured Murakami's prototype body was translucent blue... haha....... that's fantastic, and I must admit/ agree with Matt- - that figure does resemble the parts of the Max Factory recent line of Guyver products... check out the holes at the ankle joints. ;D
Guest Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 It,s the Max Factory action figure. I just found it at Hobbylinkjapan. It's up for preorder but they messed up and listed it under Guyfard. It 's not showing up when you look under Guyver products. The only reason I found it was because I was looking under Max Factory, not Guyver. I do agree with drag however that although it looks cool, it does,nt seem to be up to par with the others for some reason. I think the heads to big and he needs to be a little more beefed up. What do you guys think?
Guest Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 I concur, Reed. The Murakami figure isn't of the calibur as GIII or Aptom IV, but then again.... everything can't be perfect, no? ;D Oh, and about HLJ's fumble-- it's apparent they fixed it, Murakami's due out in December. So, get on the ball ladies and gentlemen.
Guest Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 The only problem I have with this figure is that the crystal isn't as shiny/transparent as Aptom's. Sure, this figure isn't as macho muscle, but I don't remember Murikami as being muscle. I think they've got him looking bang on. What surprises me is that in the GIII figure the joints stood out more, so if this has the posability I'll be happy. I'm still a little dissapointed with this figure though. The GIII had SOOO many extra features, like glowing/transparent frequency swords, opening megasmasher plates, and all. Aptom comes with interchangable missiles, wings, whips, and crystal. What does the Murikami figure have? The least they could do is add a transparent glowing piece that fits onto his hand when he does the energy slash. Personally, Imakarum would have been a much more fun figure to see. We could have ZoaLord armor added on as well. Oh well.
Guest Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 I actually think that the figure is pretty well designed. Murikami really doesn't have that much going for him in turns of powers and abilities you can actually display on an action figure. That's only the case cause most of his powers are energy based. That's my opinion anyways...
Guest Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 but still the figure isn't out yet wait till it comes out maybe he'll have all that stuff i can't see them have all these extras for guyver 3 and aptom and not have any extras for Murikami. just wait im pretty sure he'll come with something
Guest Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 can't see them have all these extras for guyver 3 and aptom and not have any extras for Murikami He is however cheaper Than either of the other two figures by about ten dollars for Agito and about twenty for Aptom.
