Car questions

Featured Replies

Hey guys! As a side project I design cars, and I'm working on a portfolio for a fictional car company I created right now.

My question to you is: what do you want in a car? Things you like, dislike...the whole kit n' caboodle

Your comments will be helpful in the generation of car models for the portfolio, so thanks in advance 8)

As they said in 'Capes', "Twin mounted machine guns, and an oil slick generator mounted in the exaust".

um, reliability for one. An engine that constantly needs adjudments gets annoying. The cash meens I can't buy other things that I want to do. I guess that also leads into great mileage.

We've got some big hills where I live, so acceleration and such is good too. Being able to take the lead when the light turns green is fun (so proud of my car), and able to maintain speed going up the west side hill when so many others drop down.

And if we could make this more evo freindly

Evo friendly? Please explain.

Young, save for the machine guns and exhaust thing , those are great suggestions. I am definitely putting engine design, power and buildability as major parts of my portfolio. Mileage is a good thing to bring up too, I hadn't considered it as much before becuase the portfolio is performance driven, but I think that mileage will be decent.

Great suggestions, keep em' coming 8)

How about instead of wheels it will have hoverthings? Instead of driving it flies (there is a car like this in the sixth book of Guyver but only for a panel).

Uh I want EXCELLENT or at least GOOD gas milage because gas prices are quite high here in the U.S. Or better yet a car that runs on more enviromentally friendly power. I know I sound like a hippy but hey, paper comes from trees and trees grow from good enviroments and if we don't have anymore trees we won't have anymore paper and if we don't have anymore paper then how are we going to get our own comic books!!??(OH NO!)

Oh and how about some of those new fancy lights that can go left and right.

I'd want in a car to have:

duel fuel engine (disel/electric)

twin turbo's

nitros injection

400Bhp

6x6 wheel drive with 180 degree turning radius of the wheels.

6 sub-woofers in the trunk

sweet mp3-dvd-cd player

monitors on the back of the head rests.

twin 4" exausts

cool wide body kit

24" alloys with spinners

killvolt security like off robocop 2

and air con :)

one thing that i really want is adjustable brakes.

you can make them sharper or softer if you want.

maybe you could have something like throttle assistance for hill starts?

oh and definately how about a h.u.d. on the windscreen!

fuel economy is important as in a couple of years we(the earth) will be running out of oil.

i would like a handbrake that is either on or off. not one that gets stuck just before the bottom so you have to always make sure you push it down all the way.

maybe there is a lot more things i want but ill leave you with those for now.
