Max Factory model cards

Anyone have scans of the gaster, elegen, gregole, or cards 37, 38, and 39? I ask because those are the only cards I havent seen, and well, I've got stats for all of them except the last 3, which I personally believe are Enzyme cards.

Also, even if you dont have those 4 sets, feel free to post what you've got, just to brag.

I personally own the 3 sets of Guyvers. I personally would love to own all of them, but they're rare and most people arent willing to sell them.

Looking at the cards, what exactly do the points mean? They seem to vary on the 3 cards that are for the same character? The 3 different types of points are HP, AP and DP. I would assume that AP stood for attack points and DP defence points, but I'm not sure about HP, health points perhaps? Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree!

Can anyone enlightnen me?

I can only assume HP means Hit Points, AP means Attack Points, and DP means Defense Points.

As for how it would all work, I dont know. Ever since I found out about the cards, I've been highly interested in a) translating all the text on the cards, and b) figuring out if it's even possible to use them in any sort of japanese RPG, or if they're simply statistical values that hold absolutely no gaming purpose.

As for Zerbebuth, I only have 3 crappy scans and I got them from BioWeapons.com. I'm thinking about emailing the guy asking if it'd be possible to get higher quality scans of those since those are the only 3 I dont have high quality scans of. Although, I may ask for Derzerb too as I have decent sized scans, but they arent as high quality as everything else.

As for the stat differences in the cards, I personally think the primary card is basic stats for the character, and the 2 following cards are 'special attacks'(i.e. Guyver 1 has the mega smasher and high-freq swords). It would also make sense as Guyver 3's third card is Guyver 1 and 3, as if they were making a combined attack(ala anime episode #6 when they take down Neo Zx-Tole), and it has the highest AP of all cards.

And as for the last cards, 37, 38, and 39, I'm almost positive those 3 are Enzyme since it looks like the cards encompass all the characters in the first 6 anime episodes(and interestingly enough, the data files on the first 6 episodes show images that look very much like max factory models), and having stats for just about everybody, Enzyme is the only characters that I dont have stats for, that was in the first 6 episodes.

As for the other cards? I have the stats for them, received from various sources, but I have never actually seen the cards.

So lets keep this bumped and maybe, just maybe, we'll find someone that might have scans of any of those cards.

Also, if anyone is interested, I can post all the stat values I have typed up in a word document.

Also, if Max Factory were to make more cards, what do you think the stats of some of the newer characters would be? Zoanoids? Hyper Zoanoids? Zoalords? Gigantics? What do you think the stats might be?

Samurai_Guyver please keep in mind no double posting, please check the rules section for the board, next time you want to add to a topic you were last to post on edit your previuos post. Any futher rule breaking will result in a strike

I would certainly be interested in a post with all the stat values in a word document. Is anyone working on translations of the text on the cards? I know from previous posts that some of you are working on translating the visual data files artbook and the manga books (vol 8 and 9 translated already).

Samurai_Guyver also made a good point about the cards being used for gaming purposes. This relates to an idea that i've had for a while. Does anyone remember the card game Top Trumps? You had Fantasy top trumps, motor vehicle top trumps as well as my favourite, Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel Super Villain top trumps.

Could the cards that some of you have be used for such a game? or something similar?

Sorry about the double post, wont happen again.

As for the cards, it would be awesome if we could get someone to try to translate them. Shouldnt be too hard as each card only has a small box of text, and the primary card for each char, half the text is just their height and weight.

I see what you mean about the Top Trumps game, and I think it could be something like that.. or perhaps something like OutWars(online game) where basically when someone is attacking someone else, you compare the attacker's AP to the defenders DP, and if the AP is higher, the attack succeeds, and if the DP is higher, the attack is defended. Then there's be something like if the attack was successful, the difference is deducted from the defenders HP or something like that? Either of the possible gameplays seems plausable, although there are subtle flaws like Zx-Tole's ability to resist/absorb a Guyver's mega smasher; although, I would personally enjoy expanding on these to encompass newer versions of characters, as well as new characters, and possibly expand to include special features like using just the main char card stats, then making it so certain attacks and abilities add to the AP, DP and/or HP.

For the list, it'd just easiest to copy and paste, so here is the list of all the card stats I have found. And just for reference, the notes next to the card numbers are a basic summerization of the image on the card.

I like this topic so keep it up and leave the nice info post alone as its interesting. If you find the info you are after let me know. Once done we can put it into Star's Guyver page if you want?

Sounds good.

Who knows, maybe we can expand on it as well. Like have 1 section/list for official cards, then 1 for unofficial cards of canon zoanoids/lords/others, and a third section/list for card stats of non-canon characters like the world(of guyver) famous Warrior Guyver :-P

Well, either way, I think I'd probably end up making up card stats for canon chars after episode/chapter 6.

Just scored a few of my own max factory model cards off of ebay, they are seriously cool. However I do have 3 that are the same, I'll post the details in the marketplace section!

I bought a Guyver I kit off E-bay and assumptionally, it's supposed to come with the cards, but unknowingly all it came with was box, instructions, and kit. I got j3w3d hard on my cards, so if anyone has the three Guyver uno cards, then I'd be awfully interested in getting them off you, perhaps? Anyway, about the RPG thing.... I doubt the card statistics have any meaning for a roleplaying game, just for general information with numeric illustrations

was the vynil kit painted at all? If not, then it might be a recast from someone. That might explain why no cards. It might not be made directly by Maxfactory

(and useing leet to make an obsenity/derogitory is still not appropriate. this is a warning, assuming Sully decides not to take action)

Yeah, the vinyl was painted, and it was original Max Factory. Came with the box, max instructions, and the pieces were idenitical to the box's figure. Overall, I basically got effed over by some dickhead.

Quite sorry, my figure of speech was pretty callowous. Please forgive my non-intentional prejudice. Thanks!

Not true. You see, only the first run of Guyver models by Max Factory actually had the cards, all model productions after the first run didnt have the cards. That's partially why they're so rare, and why you didnt get any. That also explains why the cards only came with character models from the first 6 chapters.

My suggestion for you is check the auction text for a mention of cards, or email the seller. Never assume cards will come with it, because more often than not, you will be disappointed.

And on a slightly different topic, do we have anyone that could try to translate the cardS? I have extremely big and good quality scans of the cards for all 3 Guyvers, plus readable scans of Vamore, Ramotith, Thancrus, Zx-Tole, and the Mizuki/Combat Crew cards. So, is there anyone that could possibly translate or try to translate the cards? If we could find out what they say, we might get more insight into whether they were part of some kind of game, or if they're just cards that show numerical strength values?
