Armageddon Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 I heard a topic on this board about a clone of Sho being absorbed by the Guyver CM. Would it do this with other hostile organisms? One example of an hostile organism i can think of are the Facehuggers from the Alien movies. How would the unit react to this?
Guest Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 I don't think so, because the clone it absorbed into itself was a part of itself. So using your same example, the Guyver unit probably wouldn't be able to absorb it, because a Facehugger is a living creature, not just an organizm.
*zeo Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 The unit will absorb anything that tries to absorb it first. The clone was trying to absorb G1 but the moment it touched the CM it got slurped up. This almost happened to Aptom when he tried the same thing. Alien face huggers don't try to absorb their victims so no the unit would not try to absorb it, which would be a bad idea anyway since those aliens have acid for blood. But since the Guyver has no mouth and the alien is not strong enough to be a real threat the most the unit will do is fire the head beam at it the moment it launches itself at the Guyver's head, who in turn would only have to worry about the acid blood.
Armageddon Posted February 29, 2004 Author Posted February 29, 2004 Thanks Zeo and Riven. Here's another one for you. If the unit was able to absorb Aptom would it have made G1 more powerful?
Guest Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Thats a question Zeo's probably more suited to answer, But, I would take a guess and say that yes it probably would, Aptom having merged with the Hyper Zoanoids in the manga means that he has a lot of Bio Energy (Right?) so the unit would probably convert that energy to power itself up.
Guest Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 I'll say no. Absorbing Aptom wouldn't really make a guyver more powerful. I meen, the armor won't take in any new forms because the control metal provides all the armor instructions (and according to rumor data is provided through something like a control metal lan). Any nutrients absorbed might help regeneration if the guyver is damaged, but where is the guyver supposed to store them for future use? I'd say anything excess would probebly be expelled with the breather unit waste. In short, at the most absorbing Aptom would be usefull for recharge and refueling. I meen, otherwise Agito would probebly just take one of the Aptoms long ago.
*zeo Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 YoungGuyver is correct, Aptom would simply become a quickie meal for the Unit. The unit would not alter itself to what it eats any more than we do when we eat. It just does it much more efficiently and quickly.
