Guest Posted July 18, 2003 Posted July 18, 2003 In the Meetings Fic it's was suggested by Dreadnought that W'Kar must heal faster in hyperspace since in his datafile it is said W'kar has 100 times the regeneration of a normal guyver I would like to know how fast he would regenerate in hyperspace? I think it is a thousand times though I could be wrong I'm just looking for clarification. Quote
McAvoy Posted July 18, 2003 Posted July 18, 2003 I remember it was around double that of his norm. I don't know where I remember that though. Also, I thought W'Kar's regeneration is actually around 20 to 30 times normal? In the GWotG, most of the characters had regeneration levels approximately equal to their power levels. For instnace, you are a 10x character, so therefore you regenerate at 10x as fast. Quote
jedi-guyver Posted July 19, 2003 Posted July 19, 2003 then would W'Kar be 18X fast then a normal guyver i just reread W'Kars data file on the WG website and it says that he can regenerate a 100 times faster Quote
McAvoy Posted July 19, 2003 Posted July 19, 2003 Actually he was 17x so therefore he would 17x. Then again, he could use his Warrior Rage and boost it up to 54x. No, in his original datafile on the GWotG site before the old datafiles there were taken down, had regeneration around 20 to 30x. The WG datafile version was probably higher for two reasons: 1. Dreadnought had regeneration 200 to 1,000x at the time of his old datafile, which is by far the fastest in the entire W'Kar universe up until Anubis came around. They had to make W'Kar seem powerful in comparison. I mean look at the WG datafile and compare it to other datafiles. He seems rather weak for his power level. 2. Difference in univeres. Quote
*zeo Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 Actually it was the other way around. Besides the WG DF on W'Kar was made with the perspective of the limited time the WG characters spent in the GWOTG universe. It was never meant to be an exact reflection of the character, just estimates derived from the WG cast observations. So the 100x regeneration was just his average, combining normal and hyper space rates. Also remember W'Kar was well on his way to his next evolution so his specs would of course have started fluxuating by then. Quote
McAvoy Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 Actually his old GWoTGs datafile and the WG datafile are almost the same. Slight differences in datafile arrangement, and explanations. But pretty much the same. Besides let's assume that his 100x regeneration level is an average. That means his real regeneration range (example only) is 50 to 200x normal. Even the Dreadnought's regeneration level in his old GWotGs datafile even says his regeneration is 200 to 1,000x normal. So on average Dreadnought is normally regenerating twice as fast or more than W'Kar's normal. This shouldn't be that hard to accept since it's the Matrix doing the enhanced regenerating whereas W'Kar's regeneration is entirely based on his own powers. Quote
Guest Posted July 23, 2003 Posted July 23, 2003 Zeo I know W'kar was just about to evolve I was trying (though it apeared unsuccesful) to only site said data I was only looking for information on W'kars regeneration while Dreadnought and company were visiting his dimension anything that happened afterward doesn't pertain to this question. McAvoy Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Your question was answered for the most part. Meanign that W'Kar's WG datafile mentions the 100x as an average as Zeo stated, meaning it can be higher or lower in normal space. For example, the 100x could be a 2x boost or a 50% boost from normal, and his Hyper Space boost could be only equal or slightly higher than the 100x figure. Or then again, he could regenerate 1,000x as you stated. Quote
