  1. How do I prefer the Sonic Buster? Not aimed at me. That's how I prefer it, thank you very much sir!
  2. I lol'ed. HARD... At the 'Aptom eats people Dave' comment.
  3. Ok nice chapter, story advances a little further.... And of course the torment of unresolved questions remains... so...many...questions... Waiting for another month
  4. are you sure this is not a lot of assumptions? http://www.japan-legend.com/guyver_advocacy/12_-_Defeat_of_Guyver_Gigantic/068/16 http://www.japan-legend.com/guyver_advocacy/12_-_Defeat_of_Guyver_Gigantic/068/17 http://www.japan-legend.com/guyver_advocacy/12_-_Defeat_of_Guyver_Gigantic/068/18 http://www.japan-legend.com/guyver_advocacy/12_-_Defeat_of_Guyver_Gigantic/068/19 Seems fairly obvious that he knows quite a bit about Aptom. His physical appearance has been altered a good bit since he absorbed Hayami, but unless one were severely distracted, it's pretty hard not to notice the similarities.
  5. That's exactly what made me originally think that he WAS an agent of the creators...
  6. Yes Imakarum knows all about Aptom, he's kept up to date on all the data files. Remember that Enzyme III was designed to counter Aptom as well as the Guyvers, and that that was revealed via Imakarum.
  7. That's why I initially felt that Apollon was the vanguard for an incoming Advent task force. I figured maybe they would look A LOT different from a bioboosted human.. Sadly, these last few issues have blown that notion away as if that had been the case, it's not likely that Apollon would know or care about the Segawa twins and even if he did he wouldn't be delivering them to Silha island....
  8. Oops sorry for not replying, but yes, that's more or less what I was saying, though keep in mind that I've always had issues with Arkanfel as Apollon for a variety of reasons. Namely... Picture THIS scenario. Caerleon is sitting in the chamber guarding the crystals. Arkanfel appears before him (definitely Arkanfel, not Apollon) Caerleon: zomgwtf??? Arkanfel! I'm like your most loyal subject! Arkanfel: Can it Ed, hand over the crystals. Oh, thanks for guarding them. Or something. Caerleon: okee dokee boss! Here ya go! See? No need for masquerading as an unknown enemy of Cronos. Imakarum as Apollon plays out similarly except that he's there on on Arkanfel's behalf. Imakarum: Hey, the boss sent me to retrieve the crystals. I'll take custody of them from here. Caerleon: Oh, ok. I don't much like this but you're the boss's right hand guy so here they are. That's just to explain my reservations. But I have to set them aside because Apollon nipped straight off to Silha with the Segawa twins after kidnapping them. So if Apollon is NOT one of them then he has to be either a third party acting on their behalf or some sort of puppet they created that carries Arkanfel's power. The notion that he's some sort of Guyver Zoalord, as per Ryuki, is intriguing as well but still doesn't settle the question of who he is. He knows Silha's whereabouts and there's not too many who do. But, eh, I'm rambling now. Still more questions than answers so all we can do is wait...
  9. Wow that would be a hell of a revelation... but where did they get a bioboost unit? And as far as identity, the range of possible suspects would still have to be pretty narrow, right? I mean Apollon did take the twins to Silha and there's not a whole lot of people who know about the island. Edit: Somehow I keep getting 'double-quotation' when I try to quote people in replies... must be a Chrome thing. Anyone else have problems with Chrome? (can't click on spoiler-type buttons anymore either on any board that has them)
  10. It's funny you should mention that because a while ago I realized something was bothering me about Apollon's size. He's very close in height and build to Caerleon's battle form. How large IS that? The data sheets place him at 2.45 meters or just a bit over 8 feet. Neither Arkanfel or Imakarum are even close in size unless they transform. See below for comparison to Caerleon and also in comparison to the Segawa siblings. (they're actually quite close behind him) I enclosed the pics in spoiler tags because they're largish and I'm not sure how to scale images here, or even if I can scale them. So, something else to give me problems with Apollon being Arkanfel or Imakarum is that they'd have to be transformed to be as large as a zoalord. And if they WERE transformed I don't see them fitting in that outfit as both of their battle forms have all kinds of protrusions. (spikes out of Imakarum's head, spikey-wingey things out of Arkanfel's head and shoulders, etc) Unless one or both of them has the ability to alter their human size without transforming. So, more mystery, but how else would we have it, right? I wonder, any hope of a full revelation by Christmas? I can hope, right???
  11. mmmm I just dunno. first one looks like his frontal cranium is shrunken but I guess you saw that too so you tried the a few more versions. I also think there might be a subconcious urge to try to 'make it fit' since we're basically bringing up the question of 'could you fit a humanoid head in there'. So I hunted down a pretty good profile of Arkanfel and stuck it in there and played with it a bit. I'll try to attach it. My conclusion is that there's not quite as much head/helmet intersection but there still is some. The nose would be peeking out of the depression/slit under the sphere and the whole thing would be biting into the face a little bit. However, the jawline is a damn near perfect match. Is that just Takaya's style showing through? Murakami / Imakarum also has a similar jawline. So I just don't know. All I DO know is it takes a month WAY too long to go by. Hasn't anyone done anything about that yet??? Ok, this is what I've got. Sorry for the crappiness. Basically what I'm doing there is using layers in photoshop and trying to do a difference or exclusion with a 75% opacity on Apollon's armor. If you want I'll provide the PSD file to play around with but it's basically the same Apollon profile you used with Arkanfel awakening right after Gigantic Dark has shattered his Zoacrystal. (frontally, that chin does look more like Imakarum.... Akranfel's is too pointy)
  12. Regarding Apollon's identity; I really didn't believe that he could be Arkanfel or Imakarum for a number of reasons, but after the last couple of issues it's obviously impossible to escape that conclusion. But I still have some concerns. Looking at Apollon in profile, it's impossible that there's a humanoid in there. Fully a quarter of the face and frontal lobes are intersected by the 'helmet'. I also have trouble believing that Arkanfel would have a need to invent this fictitious persona when instead he could just appear before any of the zoalords (excepting the traitors who might resist) and simply take their crystals. Why would he care who knows? But it couldn't be Imakarum either because the range of powers that Apollon has shown point to Arkanfel, who has the powers of all the Zoalords combined, right? (and can dominate the other lords telepathically) So my thought is this.... is Apollon some kind of telepresence device? For Imakarum to use that somehow siphons Arkanfel's power? That they created together?
  13. It's the result of over analysis. Don't get me wrong, I love speculation and hypothesizing as much as anyone but in this case I think it's plain that the creators are back and they're not happy. They've noticed an infestation here, everywhere they look in fact. Undeveloped barely conscious pond scum totally convinced of their own superiority as they scurry about their short, useless lives.
  14. Meh.... so he targets a loyal zoalord before actually hunting down the hostiles? Or does he just not know which is which? More importantly, where did he get this suit? He sure as heck didn't devise or build it himself. Arkenfels power is pretty awesome but I doubt he has technical know how to make such a thing. I mean c'mon he's basically a very powerful child who's by and large been comatose most of the time. Did Imakarum make it? How would he know how to do it? And where did they get the strange Guyver alloy from? The most likely explanation is that the Creators are back, they've sent a vanguard and granted him all the power that a Zoalord could have (any and all of them) and bioboosted him to boot. They're back to correct a terrible mistake because let's face it, their worst fears are not only realized but it's WORSE than they thought possible. Humankind has thrived and flourished like some kind of fungal infection. Their single crippled Zoalord is still alive and MULTIPLYING. His Kronos scientists have figured out how to build/grow a starship that they only ever showed Arkenfel once in a telepathic sending.. And the GUYVERS?? I mean, ONE was bad enough now there's TWO of them and OMG they figured out how to retrofit and upgrade? Using parts of old relic starships? Oh, sorry did I say TWO? Because now they can make their OWN Guyvers?? These guys are TERRIFIED and rightly so. So they've outfitted a special agent with all the power they can and probably built some kind of failsafe into him/it so they can destroy him if he gets uppity like Arkenfel did.... Anyway, that's what I think is going on.No way Arkenfel or Imakarum did this on their own. Not even together.
  15. Apollon only seems to be interested in the zoa crystals of the zoalords... and Guyot's crystal is... what, a synthetic crystal? Aka a dummy crystal like Murakami's was? He probably doesn't consider them much of a threat with anything less than a full zoa crystal. Not sure I'm buying into the notion that Imakarum is actually Apollon (either). Whoever or whatever he is he seems to have access to the powers of multiple zoalords, maybe even all of them. His armor is composed of the same sort of material that the Guyver control metal is... would Imakarum have access to that? Would Archanfel? I think this ought to be taken at face value; this guy is extra terrestrial in origin. Edit: minor clarification.
