talking of the artbook, I noticed something interesting. The orbs that are all over gigantics body are actually all over normal guyvers body. they are just internal and not on show. on some rough translation of the japanese books i discovered that these are 'Power Amp's. so if these are power amplifiers then these are how the guyver increases the hosts strength.

jayce and the wheeled warriors!! sorry had to get that in. perhaps there is a wheel rim that has handles on it and the creature could have multiple limbs to grab the handles and move along like that? a bit like caterpillar tracks. maybe you could just have a bone structure that is cushioned inside a foot like a snail with mucus to lubricate it... to turn it around you could have gears inside and mini hands to move the gears? nope thats my 2pence worth. hope it helps!

all the guyver books were republished by kadokawa(instead of tokuma shoten) around 2000 when yoshiki redid a lot of his original work.

Wow, Cool! so the guyver is like a mini processing tube.... So when it was said that it was a tool for the creators, it is the ULTIMATE tool! its probably the center of all their technology like the micro chip... biology + genetics + computers = a guyver unit. i guess that sums it up! thanks guys!

Wow! thanks. thats a pretty quick change then! i mean he gets stretched and morphed very quickly so he is likje a zoanoid. if he had the armor taken off like in one of the front covers you probablky wouldnt see his face then..... all this is so when i do my cg version of guyver i get it just right!!! whoahh! what about when the unit is forcibly removed? like with the unit remover? would the bio boosted human still have all new parts?

isnt it written in the data file that his name is Yenstsui? i would have thought it is li yentsui since he looks chinese to me ? could be wrong....

how does sho fit in the guyver? it is quite obvious that the guyver is a completely different shape and then there is gigantic guyver!!! i have the visual data files book and it shows the inside of the guyver but it is not super clear. im thinking that the guyver actually changes the anatomy of shos body when he transforms..... any thoughts?

Thanks for the feed back so far! i have put a couple more pics up that were broken, my fav. being the guyver unit. for the facial animation i have been using morph targets in 3dsmax. im planning to do a full ep. possibly about 10-20 mins. about the render times, i was gonna do an anime stylee,(rendering individual frames and using a cardboard cutout type thing.) still experimenting!

or maybe because the guyver enhances the abilities of the host whatever those abilities are......... it may enable him to absorb dna just by looking at it! or something like that........ In many ways aptom is like a bio booster creature, being able to assimilate and copy dna. perhaps the control medal would absorb him as it does the bio booster material?

i'm about to start to create an episode of the guyver in cg (computer generated) i've done a lot of dev work and will put it on my website. if you guys would like to see anything in particular put it in this thread! i would really like to hear your comments. i will try to get as much work up as i can as soon as i can!
