Hey guys! first up I wanna say love you guys work, I've been a guest user around here for ages and finally have something to share, my plan is to create guyver 2 (my favourite guyver design) as a mugen character (fighting game) eventually I'd like to branch out and create more characters and a full game but i'm going to start with one and make no promises, since I know how hard and time consuming this can be. I already have a few years of coding knowledge for mugen as I've created a number of characters for the platform in the past (mvc sakura, mvc2 cammy, and numerous bleach characters) for those that may know. I'll be using 3ds max to create the model and animate him, I haven't got too much experiance in animating but I'm learning on the fly. I'm sure it's not overly too difficult. I'm fully aware of Odins efforts on his game and have no intention of competing against his efforts, as a matter of fact I would welcome the idea of us working together at some point, but only time will tell. Ive always envisioned the gameplay to be similar to that of the Arc System Works game, so in future if anyone wants to work with me that would be great! be it artwork, move ideas and expecially reference photo's of figures! I know alot of you guys have them because so do I lol anyway here's some progess shots of the model: after smoothing is applied: and lastly these are test renders, I'm trying to go for the cell shade affect similar to the ninja storm series and the new GG XRD any critiques or even suggestions for animations and movesets when I reach that stage would be great! hopefully the model shoul be finished for texturing and rigging by the end of the week!
