So I'll start. I hope to be able to see some barn owls on Friday when I have my outing, and I made a new friend at Twilight Lexicon. She's the site's newest member and she's from Greece, and she loves barn owls.

This is a creature that doesn't feed on tinned meat, but small rodents.  This is Banshee the barn owl, perhaps the oldest barn owl currently in captivity:
