I posting it here since I think it belongs here, anyways I'm doing this thread to discuss something that I just found in the internet and it is the finding of a humanoid body in 2003 in a remote Atacama dessert in Chile, its existence was not known until 2009 and then studied in spain, further studies were made by another team by 2012 and now they are showing what they have found so far, just to let you guys know, this thing is not a hoax based on the findings they have made although further research is needed to find out its origins what it is interesting is that the specimen is apparently lived 6 -8 years old and yet it is no more than 6 inches long. I will give the link with the full story here as well as a few photos of the specimen so you guys can read and give your opinions on it.

I will say again, it is NOT a hoax.

you say it is not a hoax, but sounds like an emotional appeal since there is no real way to say for sure that it is not a hoax.

not to mention the various elephant in the room.

the leg bones is my main starting point.

leg bones of such a thickness develop in large animals to withstand gravity on their large mass. small creature would have thinner leg bones. the better explanation for the thickness of those bones is that they were originally larger bones and they were shortened.

this would tend to support the premise that this figure was constructed by somebody.

some may argue that thicker bones would develop to withstand stronger gravity on another planetary body, but that would likely yield a different body shape.

Thanks for your theory ryuki, I did say that it is not a hoax but only because it was stated as such and because I found this information on other sites, I just can't imagine it being a hoax after so many years of research, but I'm not an expert on any of this but I just thought it would be interesting to discuss. Discussing about the bones, the specimen in the article is said to be 6 inches long and had lived 6-8 years being so small I'm guessing gravity here does not affect it as much as bigger lifeforms I mean, there are bugs that are bigger than this thing and they live in earth just fine, tho this is just me speculating hoping that this is real.

I think it's good to believe in stuff, but that doesn't mean we should be a mug as well.

I think reasonable doubt should always be exercised.

like with the montauk monster. upon the very first glance i got of that thing, I immediately recognised the 'beak' as being an exposed portion of the skull. it was clear to me from the very beginning that it was some sort of raccoon or bear like creature with it's muzzle rotted away more than anything else. possibly due to the difference in tissue around that area. maybe eaten by sharks or fish as the most tasty portion.

I do agree it is fun to talk about these things.

I don't know what this little guy is.
