I like the idea of using ventrillo or teamspeak instead. alternatively there is a google plus hangout thing. if you guys have google accounts we can each take a look at getting that working perhaps. I have all the audio recordings but I don't think others will appreciate what we talked about due to the sound dropping out so much. if you guys want a copy of what i recorded, I can send it to you.

I was waiting for a response to my post. we said we were going to develop some ideas or something. since nobody responded it seemed like you guys had gotten busy or lost interest. I didn't want to push it or seem impatient so I just left it. add to that, that i am generally pretty busy these days and when a thread doesn't get any replies, I forget about it completely. (speaking of which, I am still halfway through translating last months guyver chapter from japanese and totally forgot....) today i've been sorting out premises for my business, working out logistical issues etc, didn't check in on the forum until now. well that is since around 5pm. i think. there's nothing stopping you guys recording without me though, did you guys get on together? did you have a good discussion? if you did and have it recorded then pass it on to me and i'll put it on the japan-legend youtube channel, and upload mp3 to the forum. I'm not very good with these things, honestly. I don't feel good about this right now. I feel bad because i could have checked on skype around 5pm but i didn't. I could have posted in this thread again to make sure we each know the score, but I didn't. you guys got online this evening, and i wasn't there. I let you down. I'm supposed to be all organised, but clearly i am not.
May 25, 201213 yr That's ok bro things happen, we know you have a lot on your plate with just the forum, when ever you are able to participate on the podcast you are welcomed to it, we have to deal with similar situations as well but the podcast went well, i will be reviewing the raw mp3 file and tomorrow I'll be editing it so it can be presentable before posting it on the forum and youtube.
May 27, 201213 yr alright, so far so good, I checked the MP3 file and there is not that much that needs fixing so if you guys are ok with it I will be releasing the first episode during this week probably tomorrow or tuesday, I am taking a bit longer than expected cause i want to try something special for the youtube version, hope you guys are looking forward to it. ^__^ as for the next episodes discussion Ryuki suggested to talk about videogames which is a good idea since it is still on topic about what the forum discusses, what do you guys think? what kind of subjects we should bring on the videogame discussion?

May 27, 201213 yr Author we need to be careful not to be talking about games that have nothing to do with Japan, unless we are making comparisons or talking about how they may be influenced. The name for the WiiU was more or less confirmed over the weekend so that could be a good topic. I am really looking forward to the podcast. I think it should be posted in it's own thread. you can post the mp3 itself by putting the url of the mp3 file on our server between the media tag. youtube vid is easy to post.
May 29, 201213 yr Ok guys, i just finished editing the podcast and I am currently saving the youtube version of the podcast, I was not able to do what i canted to do on the youtube version cause i would need more time and I don't want to drag this out so I will soon upload the mp3 file to the forum and later will upload the video on youtube. Btw the editing went well, the audio was divided in 2 sections one where me and spleach where talking and the other where Purgstall was talking and it was good that it did cause there was a lot of humming during the recording on his end so i was able to remove all of that unnecessary noise. I don't know if youtube will allow me to upload over 30 minutes of video so I will let you guys know how that works out.

May 31, 201213 yr alright I take it we are going to continue doing the podcast and this thursday it is episode 2, well i have some bad news, I have to do some errands in the afternoon so I don't know how long i will take so just to be safe you guys can go on ahead without me BUT as soon as you guys finish recording be sure to send me the mp3 file so i can edit it and upload it as soon as I'm done, I have no problem whatsoever to do the editing, btw, what did you guys think of my editing of the first episode? was it presentable enough?

May 31, 201213 yr Author I must say, the editing was excellent because i simply didn't notice where you cut it. it all seemed very seamless. I must say, Odin you are very organised. not at all like me, I am definitely an airhead. if I don't write things down, I will not remember. what are the subjects for today's podcast? I remember that we liked the idea of talking about games and how they compare to japanese influence. just now I thought, we need to talk about this months guyver chapter. I don't keep up with news well so I am not sure what to say there.

Ryuki we could probably talk about the guyver chapter on the next episode as well as the influence of games in japan. we should probably pick another subject as I wish that it would be three subjects for each segment, leave the news to me, I'm always checking stuff like that when i have spare time so I'll just pick the most interesting ones for next weeks episode ok?
June 1, 201213 yr Author yeah, it's all good. two people absent today so we can do podcast number 2 next week third subject, I donno... I'd like to recommend some drama I have seen, so perhaps we could talk about any non tokusatsu live action shows? that is if you guys have seen any.
June 1, 201213 yr I have not but you could go on ahead and talk about it if you like, after all, nobody saw Akibaranger until I talked about it, so we can use the podcast as a way to give the audience our personal recommendations.
June 1, 201213 yr Author that's what i was thinking. it is a good way to spread word about things people might not have seen yet. almost like what we had planned with our video reviews.
