Miura is only a part-time mangaka, so at least he has that excuse for his breaks. Togashi pulled his year and a half long break (and subsequent multi-month breaks) on sick leave alone. I'm pretty sure Miura is safe from becoming the new Togashi.

Yeah, I can't believe how much dialog they had in this chapter. I mean whoa, how much can they cram into a single page?

I couldn't believe it myself either! Well at least we have the next release date so we won't be waiting around forever like last time.

It's official: Ganishkazilla can walk.

Chapter 303 is just sweet! Ganishka looks so small compared to Femto. Not to mention the unexpected appearance of the Skull Knight. This chapter makes the wait so worth it. I can't wait what happens in the next chapter.

The story strayed from Guts' party, but who would expect of the skull knights involvement in Griffith's affairs.

that chapter was pretty cool. The Skull knight appearing like that again was awesome. I hope the next chapter gets released as quick.

There are some questions I'd like to raise regarding this chapter. Is this supposed to be in another realm (something like in the mind)? If so, I could understand why Femto is larger than Ganishka, it would also explain the appearance of Skull Knight, but I don't get how Zodd is also in there. I don't think Zodd has any interdimensional traveling skills. Unless Griffith brought Zodd with him while he's being carried?

Cool? This chapter was beyond words amazing! So much happening at once.

lol that chapter was so funny. 2 page spreads again. What was up with the Hydra like thing eating unicorns?

I'm thinking with the spread of the light, it exposed all the mythical beings which was supposedly hidden in the past. I mean, it made them much more evident. I don't know, this chapter doesn't really tell us anything except that things changed. I'm feeling Miura's been giving us fillers and he's still thinking about where the story should go next.

Okay, 306 is out and this is the third consecutive chapter that has less words. All the pages are more of descriptive drawings and no information was given except that the world changed. It's either Miura is going to tell something big, or he's already running out of ideas that he's stalling.

Love it how we have to wait until September now.

After a long stay in the sidelines, Gats is finally going to kick some @$$. He gets to have Pirates as a warm ups. It's been a long time since we've seen Gats in action.

Finally the story is back to Guts kicking ass. "You gonna eat that?"

Yup yup. I hope this isn't a reboot. I mean, the first animation was already kickass, although they left out a few tidbits unanimated, like say, the skull knight. I hope they continue on forward with the main story here. There are a lot of story to cover.

No wonder the manga has been out so slow in the past 2 years, Miura has been putting all his time in the Movie trilogy of Berserk. That trailer 2 years ago wasn't an announcement of a new anime, it was an announcement of a new movie. The final part will be coming out in January. I can't believe I actually missed this.
