Hyp3rB14d3 Posted April 12, 2008 Author Posted April 12, 2008 Good point. Here's another: Why would an apostle go around killing other apostles using one weapon over and over? They don't know about the special nature of Gutt's sword or how it attained that nature. That said, since killing apostles (as well as various other supernatural creatures and several humans) is what caused the nature of Gutt's sword, perhaps the apostles have this nature themselves. Then again, considering that Zodd was at a loss as to how to damage an astral being, maybe not. Quote
Guest guyvergigantic Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 yeah thats an interesting point. but imo zodd was puzzled coz the dude wasnt made of a physical solid (if you are refering to fighting ganishka) not coz of his nature as a more powerful being. still, i guess until something about what can harm what is stated its all really just speculation but its great to know that something huge is coming up in the manga. for about five-six months nothing really happened coz of a few delays and a few chapters on the sea, but recently its picked up alot! even so this Manga has no ending in sight and its so old hope (although i know its unlikely) that somehow it gets made quicker, unless it is at the cost of quality to miura Quote
Hyp3rB14d3 Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 At this point, I'm just hoping that the Manga ends before Miura does. Quote
Guest guyvergigantic Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 amen to that my friend.... fingers crossed ey Quote
CustodianGuyver Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Another fan of berzerk. I think that Anime was one of my old time favourites. Unlike most Anime today aka as school boy fan service drama. I really want more cool Anime like berzerk. I am gonna get all the Berzerk mangas too. Wanna see what gutz gonna do to griffoth after he raped his beloved caska on last episode off Anime in his deamonic griffith form. It's gonna be awesome fight I have good feeling about that. Quote
durendal Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 Well, before you read the continuation, I would suggest you read the Manga starting from chapter 1 as the Anime ommitted many elements of the manga. One example is that they've never shown pip in the anime. Quote
Hyp3rB14d3 Posted June 26, 2008 Author Posted June 26, 2008 The Anime also went into less detail on Gutt's origin, went into the flashback earlier, and cut a lot out of the Griffith retrieval arc. Quote
Renegade Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Anyone else seen Ganishkazilla yet? Holy Crap! Quote
durendal Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Holy Crap indeed. How the hell is Griffith gonna face off with that! Grow into a Gigantic Hawk and calling him Griffith Exceed? Quote
Hyp3rB14d3 Posted July 2, 2008 Author Posted July 2, 2008 It shouldn't be that difficult for Griffith to defeat Ganishka. He is, after all, a god. What I'm wondering is just how he's going to do it and take credit for it without revealing what he really is. Quote
durendal Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Have his henchmen do it for him? Of course judging from Griffiths character, he will take on Ganishka with strategy on mind, and not with brute force. He is the leader of the Band of the Hawks, the group that are known for conquering the unconquerable. If Griffith was unstopable when his men are composed of solely men, what more if his ranks include Zodd? Quote
Renegade Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Holy Crap indeed. How the hell is Griffith gonna face off with that! Grow into a Gigantic Hawk and calling him Griffith Exceed? Can you see into the future durendal? Quote
durendal Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Can you see into the future durendal? No, I can't see into the future. But I do have a twisted sense of humour. Now I wonder how a g-unit would bond with an Apostle, or even a God Hand. Quote

If god hand or a apostle ever got a g unit Guts would have to retire and hand his biggest broad sword in galaxy too. He will just say stuff this it's time to become a peace full farmer loll. Quote
durendal Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Uh.... so.... anybody read a recent chapter of Berserk lately? I don't think I've seen a new chapter for a while now. Anybody know whats been happening? Quote
Renegade Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 (edited) Why is Miura still on break! Edited October 13, 2008 by Renegade Quote
xfool Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Seminal dark fantasy manga Berserk is set to resume serialisation in Young Animal after a long break. Young Animal 21, will go on sale on the 24th, at the same time as the 33rd volume of the manga. Via : http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2008/10/12/b...s-after-hiatus/ Quote
durendal Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Oooh! That's Apostles vs Apostles. The end of the chapter is such a cliff hanger. We'll have to wait until the next chapter to see the true blood and gore. Quote
Renegade Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Technically, the Ganishka spawn aren't apostles. If you still qualify Ganishka an apostle then they are psuedo-/quasi-apostles...UNLEASH YOUR EVIL! Quote
Hyp3rB14d3 Posted December 9, 2008 Author Posted December 9, 2008 Gah, I hate Griffith! When is Miura going to get back to Guts's group? Quote
Renegade Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Are you kidding!?! Do you really want to see more of the stupid ship and ocean when we can watch the Falcon of Light duke it out with Ganishzilla? Quote
Hyp3rB14d3 Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 (edited) Yes. We haven't been seeing Griffith fight Ganishka. We've seen his army fight Ganishka's parasites. We've seen internal conflicts overcome. We've seen how truly gigantic Ganishka is. But we haven't seen Griffith fight Ganishka. Plus, quite frankly, I don't really like Griffith or his minions. They're just not that entertaining, and their fight scenes aren't usually very cool. At least Guts's group has Isidoro and Puck for comic relief. And a tendency to get involved in awesome fight scenes. Guts's group should soon be arriving at Elfheim. I want to see what happens when they get there. Sure we might end up seeing a little more of the ship, but I'm pretty sure that that isn't going to go on much longer. Not as long as "Griffith's fight with Ganishka" has been going on, anyways. Renegade Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 (edited) Obviously it's building up to Griffith vs Ganshzilla, but you don't think watching Zodd slice through Mini-Ganshikas and Grunbeld stomp on them cool? Also, why the hell would he cut to Elfhelm when all hell is breaking loose on the other side of the world? This fight could determine the fate of the Berserk Universe. Who knows what will happen if Ganishzilla is allowed to live, or what would happen if he dies. He's carrying so much evil in him right now, maybe he's still drawing power from the abyss! durendal Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Got any news about berserk yet? It's quite been sometime since the last chapter. Don't tell me Miura is going to pull off a Togashi. Quote
