Kamen Rider Den-O: Alt Time

Hey guys,

After watching a british sci fi tv series, Primeval, I was thinking of rewritiing a Den-O into a more serious and darker series.

Time travel since the beginning of its conception has had bad effects on the timelines, characters of the stories that allow it. Den-O despite the comedy and antics, doesn't give time travel the seriousness it needs. Time travel is a dangerous tool that if something goes wrong, then somethings might affect entire timelines.

Come up with a Ryotaro and Airi that don't annoy the hell out of the viewer and then we may have something...

Well of course, my version of Ryotaro is a lot more braver than Toei's version and he doesn't need imagins to help him fight. In fact imagins do not exist in this version.

Basically, here's something I have worked up on based on my old concepts done during the time when Den-O first started the nightmare of hardcore, "serious" Rider fans.

Synopsis: Holes in the space/time continuum called Time Holes open up in 2007, causing mayhem as creatures from prehistoric and post-historic times invade the time line threatening the survival of humanity. When a spate of animal attacks occur, Detective Ryotaro Nogami inevitably takes on the mantle of Kamen Rider Den-O to stop the crisis and the creatures that come from the Time Holes. Joining him are the crew of the Denliner, a time traveling train. This is time travel with serious consequences and no crazy, singing, multicolored Onis!

Ryotaro Nogami (野上 良太郎) Kamen Rider Den-O

Ryotaro Nogami is a detective with great courage and intelligence from the 2007 timeline. A spate of animal attacks made him come in contact with the crew of the Denliner and taking up the mandate of Den-O to fight the creatures that appear from the Time Holes. This alternative universe Ryotaro has some of the character traits of Momotaros, Urataros, Kintaros and Ryutaros rolled into one; Courageous, Intelligent, lacks of sleep and also like to sketch in his free time. In fact his sketchbook is his diary

Time Travellers

Hana (ハナ )

Hana has no memory of who she is and which time line she hails from so she stays with the Professor and Naomi on the Denliner. Before Den-O, Hana was the one who had to take down the dangerous animals both prehistoric and post historic alike from affecting the timelines.

Naomi (ナオミ)

Naomi is the daughter of the Professor and aids her dad in finding way to sealing the Time Holes. She also helps with Ryotaro, Hana and Miura with tracking down animals and providing useful data.

Professor (きょうじゅ ,)

The Owner of the Denliner is now called the Professor. A literally walking wikipedia on many fields. He has been trying to find a way out to seal the Time holes for a long while.

Momo- Meganeuropsis

Momo is aptly named for his big peach shaped compound eyes on his head. He DNA merges with Ryotaro for Den-O Sword Form, lending his agility and powerful sight to his owner.

Ura- Devonian Armored fish

Ura is a strange Armored fish from the Devonian period. He allows Ryotaros to access Rod Form allowing better defense and also an armor piercing harpoon.

Kin- Thylacosmilus

A sabretooth marsupial from prehistoric S. America. Unlike true sabre tooth cats, his sabre teeth can regrow even after it breaks. He DNA merges with Ryotaro for Den-O Axe Form, lending his strength and power for the kill.

Ryuk- Draco japones

Ryuk is the most unique of all the 5 Singularity animals. Ryuk is a "dragon" but technically the last true descendant of theropod dinosaurs. His kind somehow survived in China in isolation for millions of years. Ryuk belongs to the smallest subspecies

having arrived in Japan before humans. His cousins in China and Korea and larger than him. His DNA allows access to Gun Form, as a reference to Ryuk's heat breath, a mixture of organic compounds give off a smelly, high temperature cocktail that can temporarily blind other creatures.

Sieg- Microraptor gui

Sieg is a crow sized four winged raptor from China. He is unique as he's an albino of his species. He allows access to Wing Form rendering the Den-O the power of flight.

Yuto Sakurai (桜井 侑斗)- Kamen Rider Zeronos

Yuto Sakurai is the alter ego of Kamen Rider Zeronos. A supposing time travelling murderer, he was mistaken for Yuto Sakurai, the fiance of Airi Nogami and Ryotaro's future brother in law. He was involved in the murder of a scientist and he seems to be trying to change the future to his will for some reasons.
