Thought you guys would like this. My first exposure to the Guyver was through the first live action film, which I adored. When I came across this magazine called Wild Cartoon Kingdom in 1993, I immediately froze. There was a cartoon Guyver on the cover! Whaaat? Needless to say I was stunned to find out that the film was based on a Japanese comic book and already had its own cartoon which was being brought to America. It was also the first time I learned that there was going to be a sequel to the live action film, and I was ecstatic. Can't tell you how many times I read this article, and drooled over the pictures. My imagination ran wild. It would be a couple more years before I would get my hands on a VHS of the anime, and got to see Dark Hero.
