WG-Fic site structure change - Looking to the Future

This has being mentioned before but I'm putting this under it's own topic now that the day this will happen is getting closer.

After 7 days part 7 is fully up it's time to get the re-writes done. It's not the only thing that will be getting a new design the WG-Fic site will be too in many important ways.

1. The site will no longer sorted by who did what. Instead the story rules all. When you enter the WG-Fic you'll be given a choice of 2 main blocks of Stories, Chronicals and the the Orginal Story line (which I've yet to think of a good name to call the orginal group of stories).

2. Chronicals is managed by Mike Cox, it's viewed to be it's own story based on that of the Orginal fics. Inside it's section of the site it will have it's own data files setction etc.

3. Orginal Stories will be as I said be orgnaised into the fics rather than who did what. So when you enter that section of the site you'll be given a choice between the storys and all will be sorted A to Z.

I'll be freeing up who can write about what. So basically once you're a WG-Fic autour you get to write any story you feel like, but ulitmately if it's included will be decided by that Fic's founder. So if I decided to do a Max story based in Canada I'd ask Matt for example. If a new writer came along and wanted to continue a fiction that has being left alone for a long lenght of time it would be possible to do so with the founders approval. If not their story would be continued in another fiction.

in total we have.

Assassin Guyver, Cyber Guyver, Flight of an Angel, Guyver XT, Nova Guyver, Warrior Guyver, Warrior GuyverC and W'Kar.

All these sections will have art to represent them.

All the above will share the same Data Files and Calendar (this will also be updated after the re-write) which will link them together. There will also be a simple part of the site listing storys by release date.

5. All in all this will alow the site to be more flexable, dpeending on how the rest of the guys feel is also allows for people to submit stories they would like to be part of the offical fan-fiction. But again that would be up to the founder of that story if they wanted such a story to be part of their work (note this is for the Roginal stories, not Chronicals which will be still Mike's work only).

Something that I've always thought the site should have is all the fics listed in there chronological order. So say the most recent example would be like the newest w'kar fics taking place during the events of 7 days like part 3 of 7 days then the w'kar fic. Am I making any sense here?

I've plan to list all stories with oldest on top and a time listing going own and all the fics and how they link time wise will be in it.

I'd like to see data files on new Zoanoid/Zoalord & Guyver characters recently introduced (once Seven Days is complete of course).

I'd like to try writing a story or two for the warrior guyver site if thats still possible, sounds like a fun way to give back to stories I've been reading since highschool (god I feel old now that I realize how long I've been reading these stories for )

To be honest it wouldn't be fair to anyone to write a story based in the WG Fan-fic at the moment. Things will be changed and added too a lot after 7 days is done with the coming re-write. A lot of characters that have had 0 develepment. Some of which simply existed to die with 0 backstroy made no sense at all (e.g. Elera's Uncle, that whole story needs more).

Zeugma for example too needs more development.

Saying that there is a lot too I'm happy with, most of the Assassin Story for example is fine, only the parts with Creators in them need some slight editing so that it matches into the Gen Storyline. Strange Worlds is another, it will change only slightly, if at all.

Time War for example is looking to be turned into a 3 parter by the time the rewrite is done.

Saying that it wouldn't be impossible to write a good story if you didn't go hugely into the back histoy of the characters you use. But in the end, I'm not looking for any new writer to bring a work load with them for me, Matt and James, but to use what is out there in the fic / offical stories and make something interesting.

Oh well, thanks for explaining the situation to me then Sully, good luck with all the big changes ya gotta make (looks forward to more details on Zeugma, Elera & her uncle, Tonnin, & Kalika). I imagine Zeugma must have had a hard time adjusting, she'd been created to rule over humanity as its most advanced member much like Arcanfel had only to wake up to find Chronos rules the world and the people she's allied with don't wish to serve her and that the majority of non-Chronos sympathizers think of Zoalords/Zoanoids as monsters rather than the ultimate evolution of humanity (that has to get annoying real fast, lol). Tonnin and Kalika's past partnership has interested me as well.

BTW, would it be okay to contribute data files or fanfics to the site? Not canon with the official Warrior Guyver universe of course just fan work? Where would be the best place for those amongst the threads?

I've just had a thought sully or to anyone else who might know how to do this... a pdf version of the fic for mobile e-readers? I know this may sound bad but ever since i got mine i find it very difficult to actually sit down and read books and stories on the computer.
