Crom Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 The Guyver Project a whole was a failure, but I'm curious as to what happened to the very first Guyver Prototypes, the ones without the power regulators, the ones that run on so high of a power output that it's detrimental to the host's health? Will you answer this inquiry? Quote
*zeo Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Well Guyver Zero is in Matt's fic and the other early prototypes have either been revealed or mentioned throughout the fic. Only a few have yet to be accounted for but they will eventually be explained in the fic. Quote
McAvoy Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 There are no test units that are unhealthy for the hosts to use. There might have been total faliure units where their systems failed in some form. But I would imagine there were mistakes in the past and failures, maybe some of them are around, but I would guess that they were either destroyed or lost. I think the ones we have seen already were still around is because just like many big projects, it's always a good idea to keep prototypes and concepts around to fall back on in case of the current path that you take is the wrong design. Look at how the Navy designs their ships. They have hundreds of designs, with some of them not even have a single feature present in the final product and the rest have something that was novel in some way to be used in the final design. Read up on the Battleship designs studies of the 20's to 30's. Many of the designs were introduced to the ships being refitted and the designs led up to thefast battleships of WW2. Quote
