Twilight-Guyver Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 To everyone here on the board who takes a look, I wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Kwanza, and if I forgot one I'm sorry. But, in this time of holiday cheer be happy, be with loved ones and enjoy life. Happy Holidays!!!! Quote
TheGuyversWill Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 My misses and me celebrated the Yule as of the 21st. It's a wiccan thing. Very festive. Quote
Twilight-Guyver Posted December 25, 2006 Author Posted December 25, 2006 You're Wiccan? Heh, wouldn't have pegged you. You mind telling me how the holiday goes on your part? I haven't done too much researchon it but I'd like to hear about it first hand, if you don't mind that is. Quote
TheGuyversWill Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 I'm agnostic. My fiancée is Wiccan. Almost everything you think is "Christmassy" is actually "Yuley". They were nice enough to allow you to share their holiday back in 200 BC, so most of your(that is if you celebrate Christmas!) traditions are actually derived from the festival of Yule. Quote
Twilight-Guyver Posted December 25, 2006 Author Posted December 25, 2006 Yule huh? Well, that's cool. Well I guess I owe a big thanks to the Wiccan community for a great holiday. Quote
TheGuyversWill Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Pagan. Wicca is more of a new age thing. It's only been around for about 60 years. Though it's based off of the Pagan beliefs. Quote
