*zeo Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 In depth analysis of the X-Box 360 Btw, did you know it will support the older X-Box games via software emulation? Quote
McAvoy Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Yeah. But they didn't have enough time to upload all of the software for all XBox games. So you would have to get hooked up to the internet, and download the software (if it doesn't have it) to play a certain game. But you only have to do this once. Quote
Azaar Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Yeah, but the emulator is pretty hefty, weighing in at an extra $100. Not to mention, the emulator (from what I've kept hearing over and over again from a lot of different people) only supports certain XBox games, not the entire XBox library. A real shame, too: I may wind up switching back to PS2 and wait for the PS3, which will still completely support PS and PS2 games from everything I've heard thus far. Quote
