I just finished reading "Meeting of the Warriors", mostly to keep myself up on the WG universe and various character interactions for my own attempts at fanfic. However, while I was reading it, I found something that piqued my interest.

Greg mentions to Jason that the W'Kar CM can pick up a lot of things from scanning another Guyver's CM. Granted, I've looked over W'Kar's datafile, but the definition for it under the Hypersenses entry seems a bit short.

So, my question: what exactly is W'Kar's CM capable of scanning in other Guyver units, and just how detailed an analysis does the CM give Greg?

I think I might be able to help you it comes down to this although I could be wrong

A standard guyver unit was never originally intended to merge with a human host that was a creator test to see what would happen. So to answer you question for the creators the Unit G was standard eqiupment and given the fact that the creators have high telepathic abilities they did not need to encrypt thier control medals for lack of a better word. However in the Jason O'Conners Universe the creator of the Warrior Unit Solom wanted to prevent technological espionage from his rival Working on the nova project because he was developing a special unit designed for battle thus Greg had greater difficulty reading Jasons Unit he mentioned that he could only read 10% of what he normaly could this is also due to the fact jasons unit is so radically different from anything the creators or Greg himself has seen. Really sorry for the long answer this is the only way I can explain it.

That's a really good answer. Though I think it's also the Matrix helping Jason out from Greg from fully scanning his control medal. While Dreadnought was having difficulty as well with W'Kar as well trying to get scans from him. My guess it's the difference between the Matrix's technology and the W'Kar technology.

The reason why I say this, is that throughout that story, Greg comments on how efficient the Warrior units are, and how hard to kill they are. W'Kar's unit is by no means superior to a Matrix, it's just the difference in technology.

To answer Azaar, W'Kar has the ability to scan the strength and weaknesses of any opponent from the concentration and pattern of energy they are manifesting. It doesn't always tell him his opponents potential though if they are not using their full power. But anything with Creator tech is basically an open book for him.

Welltall2's and McAvoy's answers are correct for Dreadnought but the reason W'Kar was hard to read was because of the W'Kar element, not because of the difference in tech. Remember W'Kar is all about power and not about technology, while Dreadnought is all about technology.
